I guess what I'm thinking is that my life may be fucked a dozen different ways but I can still help spare you from a lot of long term hurt with a little in the short term...
We never asked for this.
Plain and simple.
You don't want a life where nobody will give you anything unless you ask for it trust me...
Surge simply put, you're overzealous in your process to the point it regularly infuriates people.
Maybe that's the reason people still don't like you.

That's not an excuse.
Offer help, don't force help.

Let it be known that, yes my "fragile emotional state" has been wholly compromised and no, I do not plan on continued participation in the rp thread without serious convincing.
WHAT.

NO.
NO.
LET THE CHRYSSALIDS TRY AGAIN.
THEY FUCKED UP CLEARLY.
So silver dashed around a corner, popped a lid pod behind him, they used their activation to get close, I figured he was done, then the one lid that jumped onto the roof used both it's moves, rather unnecessarily might I add, the jump down and get next to him, the second lid ran right past him and into the street, and the third just ate a civvie as expected. I don't even.

...
Karma. It flows through me.
This team is going places.
Presently a UFO crash but they'll be going other places after that too probably.
jesus fucking christ guys i went to class and come back to this.
Here's what it boils down to:
-Marx, you did NOT have to "match" what Unamused was doing. In fact, Rule #1 was put in place to prevent things like that from happening in the first place. If you think something is overpowered and strongly infringing on what you want to do, say something about it rather than try to counter it. Countering it only causes issues that could easily be avoided by saying "Hey, I think that's a bit overpowered for you to just randomly start with. Can you possibly tone it down or remove it?" and if conflict happens poke someone about it.
-Unamused, you need to not try to be "top dog" in terms of power, because that caused this entire issue in the first place. There's no need for strongly-armored mercs, or cloaked corvettes (Holy shit how did I miss that earlier), or anything of that magnitude. If you want to do something like that, don't just do it, ask if everyone is okay with that.
-Surge, I understand you're trying to help Marx out, but doing it on the forums, in public, is not the way to do it. I know you don't want him to simply ignore your messages because they're harsh, but it's causing a big argument here.
I do not want to see ANY more of this argument after this post (There will be a ~10 minute grace period since someone might have written a post up and put it up after this without seeing me say this) and if I do, I will be issuing out warnings. Do I make myself clear?
On other news, new update to SRSRP thread meant to avoid space-angst.

Ban me for all I care, I'm just tired of being the scapegoat and punching bag here.
Surge really needs to back off a little. He's not Marxon's parent, nor is he staff on the site. Though it may be painful to watch Marxon living a miserable life, it is out of line to continually be critical of him over it. Lecturing will never make him understand why he's stuck where he is, neither will yelling at or punishing. He won't ever change unless he deeply and truely wants to improve himself, and is willing to put aside the excuses and do a little more each day to be a better person.
And Surge, I believe you are wrong about asking for things. Because I do want a life where I am not given anything unless I ask for it. To me someone offering something I didn't ask for is annoying and while they may mean it with the best intentions in the long term makes me feel bad about it, because I feel like I owe them in return. Things have been so nice since I got my own apartment in that regard, because even though money is a little tight at times I can proudly say that I've earned the nice things I have and take care to enjoy and make the most of them because of the effort it would take to replace them if lost or damaged.
It may seem strange to you, but if you were to offer me something that I've always wanted, I would initially either refuse or get out my wallet if it was something I would have been able to afford on my own. Or I would just get mad at you for it because there's not as much joy in precious things that were not earned.

Yeah you're right, I can't make him want to change no matter how much I try to show him how and why...

I want to change, but it's a very slow and difficult path, and I'm constantly being pushed back.
