why did I skip on that stream.
to be fair, the only reason she even did requests was because sh was having art block with commissions and said "maybe doing a request or two might help"
one request was KUNG FU PANCAKE FIGHTING ACTION BEE which didn't get uploaded sadly. the other was my request.

This. They used to be about even in capability, but lately NVIDIA has been putting wads of cash into developers pockets to make games that only perform well on NVIDIA hardware in order to guarantee themselves a market.
The AMD cards are descended from the ancient maker of GPUs known as ATI, whose cards have had legendary performance nearly 20 years already. They're in a bit of a slip now because AMD is having trouble competing with NVIDIA and Intel's unfair tactics in the marketplace, but that performance most certainly is still there. It just is harder to observe it because of the foul play going on.

Seems you always get requests whenever they open.
You or Rainbolt anyways.

http://wccftech.com/nvidia-gameworks-amd-both-sides-analysis/4/
If you remove NVIDIA's jealously guarded GameWorks from the equation AMD cards, generally said to pull ahead in compute based rendering but behind in tessellation based rendering, can match an equivalent GeForce in tessellation, but add GameWorks in and a 13% difference turns into a 200% difference.
Nevermind when AMD had TressFX which crippled NVIDIA cards just like GameWorks crippled AMD cards they responded by making TressFX open-source so NVIDIA could optimize for it. NVIDIA responded by continuing to ensure AMD can't optimize for GameWorks.
This is why I support AMD with my money, I think they make a perfectly fine product for my purposes and I respect their business practices considering their precarious position in the market, mind you I learned about all this and decided to only buy AMD AFTER I had already bought my FX series but it makes me feel much better about my FX series and it's the reason I'll be getting a Radeon 390 as soon as I have a spare 3 or 400 to burn.

if it's requests, i try to get in. i have never, ever, ever, EVER won a stream raffle ONCE even if twenty people get raffle prizes out of twenty five, or if there's only three people in chat including me
picarto hates me when it comes to raffles. the only time i have shown up as a winner was when it was rolled pointlessly about four or five times after the stream, and then it was only after numerous other people won multiple times.

I just don't commit the time to streams. 4 hours being the fifth wheel for a bunch of folks is not a fair trade for most art imo.

eh, whatever floats your boat. i like watching people draw, and i usually do other things when watching streams.
EDIT: also the drawing surge is talking about is this.

I tend to enjoy doing more than watching, but art isn't something I can do so I just do vidya games.
That's a really nice drawing. Wish I could draw like that. Still need to practice more.
As a side note, still have WingDings as my font. I still dont know what the hell I did.

They're around the same price range from what I've seen (at least on Amazon, I amazingly can't find prices anywhere on either of their actual websites) and I don't 100% trust the website to know. http://www.game-debate.com/gpu/index.php?gid=3246&gid2=3068&compare=geforce-gtx-950-asus-directcu-ii-oc-strix-gaming-2gb-edition-vs-radeon-r7-370
It says one is better than the other, but it seems just about everything related to memory is better on the Radeon card and I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I AM DOING HELP ME.
In other news, solved the x2click issue with an autohotkey script for now. Will probably take apart mouse tomorrow to see if we can fix it.
Over all, the Nvidia card seems to have better processing powers while the amd card is available with better memory specs.
I got that much, I just dunno which would be better - in general are processing or memory specs more important for graphics cards?

So basically I should definitely stick with AMD as I always have. (Every computer I've ever had has AMD cards/chipsets/etc.)

"Doodle"
"Kinda disappointed how [it] came out"
I AM NOT SEEING EITHER OF THESE STATEMENTS PROVEN.
So the first person you meet in the Institute is a robotic replica of your son, anyways he rejects you as his father and freaks out then the REAL SHAUN being a 60 year old man now, comes in and shuts him down and explains that that experiment didn't go quite right.
Wtf m8?
So anyways he starts prattling on about how the Institute aren't actually bad guys no matter what the filthy wasters say and they only have humanity's best interests at heart, but he NEVER even ATTEMPTS to justify the terrible things you've seen and heard, he never gives you the full picture so that you will see his side of the issue. Anyways he just gives you full access to everything instantly because protagonist and dad, then you go meet the division heads. Bioscience says they are making synth gorillas, but they never say for what conceivable reason. Synth Retention explains that coursers are carefully selected and trained from only those synths who display the proper psychological traits after stating that they are machines and have no thoughts or opinions worth hearing. Advanced Systems doesn't say much the division head just sends you back to Bioscience to investigate the old FEV laboratory where they had been manufacturing Super Mutants, recording every instance of an already well known process considered to be a scientific dead-end and then tagging the Super Mutants and releasing them into the commonwealth casually at Shaun's orders, but nobody in Bioscience knew why.
Oh yeah Kellogg didn't age a day in the 60 years between Shaun's kidnapping and your duel because cybernetics or something. Rare and unique cybernetics...
Anyways then Shaun will assume that talking to 3 people who also won't really justify or explain anything has magically convinced you that the Institute is the right choice, tell you of a lone Synth who had his memories wiped by the Railroad (Nick explained earlier that Institute safeguards modify the memories of all escaped synths) and then went on to become a raider leader and that's why no synth can have true free will and then sends you to go capture the poor sod.
I get that Shaun is supposed to seem manipulative but if that's what they wanted he shouldn't have just given you all the permissions he could instantly.

Can you customize different aspects of the power armors? If so, then I'm getting Fallout 4.

Ehhhh yes and no.
There are "variants" of each suit that are all but identical to each other save for increased performance as armor plating. There are external coatings that include paint jobs with bonuses if you paint everything to match, and chem coatings and applique layers that infer bonuses primarily in resistance to various things. Then there are internal mods that vary by what piece you mod, the helmet may receive an enhanced HUD or a new rebreather for instance, the torso can get an internal chem distribution system to easily and more efficiently inject stimpacks, the arms can be modded to hit harder or be more stable, the legs can be made sturdier or faster, etc etc. So while an X-01 Mk6 with full mods is incredibly different from a Mk1 X-01 it is for the most part identical in use and appearance.

That's what I love. Its as close to mech customization as I can hope for. Also, do energy weapons all require ammo?
