There are "variants" of each suit that are all but identical to each other save for increased performance as armor plating. There are external coatings that include paint jobs with bonuses if you paint everything to match, and chem coatings and applique layers that infer bonuses primarily in resistance to various things. Then there are internal mods that vary by what piece you mod, the helmet may receive an enhanced HUD or a new rebreather for instance, the torso can get an internal chem distribution system to easily and more efficiently inject stimpacks, the arms can be modded to hit harder or be more stable, the legs can be made sturdier or faster, etc etc. So while an X-01 Mk6 with full mods is incredibly different from a Mk1 X-01 it is for the most part identical in use and appearance.
That's what I love. Its as close to mech customization as I can hope for. Also, do energy weapons all require ammo?
Laser and institute weapons take fusion cells, the flamer takes flamer fuel, plasma weapons take...I don't know actually I've seen them but I don't have any, the ammo I mean, gauss rifle takes special cartridges, and the laser gatling takes fusion cores.

Welp, time to start hoarding as much ammo as I can hold. Never have been a fan of limited ammo. Probably why my Terraria character has an entire inventories worth of Crystal Bullets, and then a Musket Pouch.

Plasma weapons take plasma cartridges, gauss weapons use 2mm ec charge packs or something like that (I think this is meant to be the same as electron charge packs from previous games)
MRW somebody insufferably immature joins [FURS] but I'm obliged to tolerate them as clan leader and only active officer.

What game is it for, anyways? I might try it. I have nothing to do, seeing as how all the games I used to enjoy are now shit.

Armored Warfare.
Looks interesting. I'll install it, try it tomorrow. Also, just bought a new Roguelike called Overture for 2$. Pretty good game, aside from the complete LACK OF FUCKING INVULNERABILITY FRAMES!
It saddens me that I will never again be so badass as to jump into the ocean wearing nearly a ton of armor, march across the seabed to a sunken boat, climb up a 70 degree slope to get back above the water, and then clear out the entire boat with a combat shotgun.
So I was talking to Marx, and he was wondering how long till he could post again. Care to shed some light, Ehks?
I bet you null will post this later.

According to the settings currently in effect, never.
If that is to be changed, it would be the decision of Ehks.
He crossed the line bigtime here. Technically he should indeed be banned, not just having his posting suspended.
Right now he and I are talking about the matter, and I have reason to suspect that it would be unwise to allow him to post again anytime soon.
In my generally unwanted opinion I think he keeps making his bed and then we just let him not lie in it.
I would have wound up banning him months ago honestly, nothing personal and I'd hate to do it with so few users but at some point you have to acknowledge that somebody is a problem user.

Alright, then. Not to be cruel, but it'll be nice for everyone, including Marx, if he can't post.

can confirm, will keep his posting privileges suspended until further notice due to intentionally antagonizing the admin and numerous other past offenses.
Sooo... To change the subject with
EVEN MOAR random Starbound nonsense...
I loaded up the game again and was suddenly very sad my
Hotbar UI Suggestion wasn't ingame.
But that's not the point. Now that I've hit another milestone in my Unstable playthrough, I've done the 3rd (technically 4th?) update to my
Feedback Thread. Yaaay?
I don't even know if people care at all about that thing. Unless someone tells me to stop, I'll probably keep mentioning when I update it anyway. I don't blog/feedback/etc. things often, but when I do... they're long and ranty.
