Maybe I should join the SEMISRS RP. See what this is all about and hijack the fucker like last time

2: 753 is literally the perfect scapegoat when you need to justify interdimensional shenanigans. He's basically a robotic demigod who meddles in various universes and timelines as a hobby.
1. Good point.
2. I have a character who would take issue with that, since they have immense power but specifically forbid themself from interfering with universes... I'm kind of curious as to how much they and 753 would hate each other... (this character almost certainly will show up as an All Powerful Bystander for a little while at some point and be generally completely useless while doing so, so it would be interesting for 753 to interact with them at that time if 753 does get involved.)
(Also, yes, I have yet another extremely powerful character, oh no - however, this one is, as previously stated, absolutely rubbish because they never do anything important, and likely won't be around for long at all.)
753 is fun because he operates with certain rules, his ability to manipulate the universe around him varies and he rarely allows himself to interfere in such a way where his mere presence could be earth-shaking (i.e. a weird robot with no physical joints saves the president from an assassin on national TV, consequences ensue) unless the consequences for his absence are of the earth-shattering variety. Millennia of coping with the laws of physics in different universes has also caused some moderate corruption of his programming which is the cause for eccentric and sometimes erratic behavior. That said a favorite tool of his is various intermediaries, he likes to subtly influence people into shifting events his way and he tends to object less to any disruptions of the timeline or society caused by these intermediaries. Basically he views himself as a bit of an outsider who is better off pulling strings from afar because he has a better view of the big picture but the world "isn't quite ready" for him to get more directly involved.

Ah. Maybe they would get along better than I thought. Sounds cool. I vaguely remember him from WAAAY back.

As this discussion has been showing, it's not really "all about" anything...
yet.

Honestly the only reason I still keep him around is because I think he's such a cool concept on multiple levels. like the hover-joint things that attach his various bits to his torso that allow you to literally knock his head off and across the room and he'll just comment on how rude that was while his body walks over to pick it back up and sorta drops it above him and lets the electromagnetic fields sort out the rest.
As the others have stated, and as I have partaken in it, the RP is mostly slice-of-life at the current time. From what I can see, everyone is shopping for clothes.

Exciting. Not that I could do much better.
Worldbuilding for various universes to put the PCs through will indeed be pretty hard, the easiest way to do it will probably be to choose a central trope and build around that. A principle of 753's interdimensional travel is that while he technically travels along many more dimensions than just 3 he maps the multiverse in a 3D manner, and this means that he's found that a lot of very similar universes tend to clump together, creating clusters of basically the same universe with varying differences between them.
i am a legal adult now

As for the slice-of-life thing, once again I'd love to get a plot going but judging by my attempts in the previous RP, I shouldn't be the only person trying to organize it.
I'm not sure what kind of story we'd have anyway... I mean, I have character arcs pseudo-planned for my three "main" characters, but I'm talking overall big story stuff.
(On that note, I have 3 main characters, 2 recurring characters who may be somewhat familiar (spoilers!), and a few who have the main purpose of being involved in another character's story arc and, depending on what main story we might decide on, could play minimal part in that too.)
The Glitch just seemed like the fit. As Ehks said, we have cybernetic and Ai, so it kind of makes sense there'd be sapient robots.
We also have one already in the form of the character Surge introduced who just disappeared.
Also, cool! I was actually thinking of putting in some kind of story arc involving the 'cataclysm.' I mean, Ehks has already established that there were monsters...
Oh, I also have a character arc in mind for Umbra. He may or may not discover what he really is.

I'd offer up the Tecarians because I love my sapient AI but they wouldn't fit in because it would disrupt their canon.

I love this headset.
I am very good at keeping my linux system stable.
/sarcasm, obviously. I'm waiting for the install disk to finish downloading, where hopefully it contains a "fix my package fuckup" option.
