Chucklefish beat you to adding shadow things. They exist in the Midnight biome as costume sets.
They look really fucking cool, though.
they were the inspiration for his race iirc
Video acceleration had stopped working. Logs says nothing can recognize my graphics card anymore. Time to reinstall the entire graphics stack this evening.

As if you need graphics to play dwarf fortress.
So anyways Worldbuilding for the semi-RP. Already established that 753 will collect a group of people and send them on varying important adventures to save various places and important people, both for what he perceives as the good of that universe and the good of nexus, the question now is to establish some actual adventures. First idea: obligatory D&D adventure, a wizard of the less than noble variety has accidentally stumbled upon nexus, so he naturally told nobody and has been gathering lot's of cool techno-magic stuff and a few minions who know how to work it and so the PCs get to go in, answer any "what are you?" questions with "we're here to stop that wizard dude," explore a fantasy world, and then save it.

Sounds cool. Should I bring power armor?

I do play other games.
Also, because I can't be damned to do this normally, where exactly are the descriptions for the characters in the SEMISRS?

I'll work on that and get back to you.

What you're looking for will probably be scattered throughout the first 50 pages or so.

It's SEMISRS for a reason. It's barely a formal thing at all.
Hence why there aren't sheets.
Well then, I'm going in Pure Blind! ahahahahahah you guys probably won't get that
As soon as I figure out which character I'm going with, I'm tossing a cryopod into the solar system or something
So we're still doing that "everyone comes in from space" thing that nothing was set up for?

Well, upon meeting characters, there's usually a description thrown in.

We at least have Jerry the Cranky Docking/Landing Permission Man...

Then what do you suggest?

For a cryopod? I got nothing. Not really set up for that kind of unintentional travel.

No, I mean, how else would I appear?
