Before I continue I ask. Does my common response to you out of near nowhere bug or annoy you at all? I aim to, minimize such things. Only reason I ask.

of course not, aside from beggars not being choosers I do enjoy talking about mechs.

MRW I realize that Core Contingency's aquatic structures have more or less fixed one of my favorite maps that was normally impossible to turtle on.
Yes, in fact, could build ONLY in the water and own the land and sea if you chose to. I absolutely love torpedo bombing clustered areas. Torpedoes do near nuclear damage center blast but are hard to aim as you have to tell the unit to hit the correct distance past the target in condition with where the torpedo bomber currently was and what heading they were on. In the end though. Glorious skill kills. Torpedo bomb their commander to helll! Heeeahhahaha!
Wow completely missed this post. I'm mostly excited for the floating AA and heavy lasers, I can set up my punishers on the shore and have my fortifications floating in the shallow water.
Just realized Fallout 4 no-pipboy mods will be really great.
Why?
There's already an ingame pipboy-less UI for when using Power Armor. It could probably pretty easily be attached to the default character when not in power armor, so you don't end up with an invisible UI or unable to open the menu when you've removed the fugly thing from your arm.
(Seriously, it's even more bulky than the one in F3 and NV)

Good. Also. Two words Uberhack. Floating punishers. Mate.
Glad you got to keep your alias on the forums by the way.

Well I'm presently learning that the game engine really doesn't like floating dragon's teeth. High arcing arty shells are harmlessly splashing down when they try to go over them and my thunderbolts are cruise missile fodder.
Just renewed seraphimlabs.com for the next year so that all of the stuff I have hosted stays working, including you guys.

The only weapons in game that arc up first before moving are heavy rockets. Cannons shoot straight and then arc downwards rather than shooting up and at an angle. Due to a limit of the engine. It's why punishers and such have issues with terrain and dragons teeth, and birthas can only fire over them to a certain distance, at which the rounds have lost enough altitude to be effected by them. At least I believe this is why.Either that or floating dragons teeth were designed bugged and are up to aircraft height.

Yeah I took down the teeth either way, I just need my targeting facility up and everything should be fine.

ALL the heavy arties on a hill.
God DAMNIT they have Berthas, just vaporized my fleet as it was sweeping around the outside of the Atoll.
Gonna have to spearhead with my tanks before I can send in the boats.
My timing is overly impeccable. Amphibious tanks anybody? Surge. The amphibious tanks are actually really good. Just slow. Could try roach/invader bombing.
The enemy ground forces have thrown themselves into the meat grinder that is my Buzzsaw's killzone, my fleet is in position to sweep in again, and my tanks are regrouping to swing wide around the enemy defenses and strike their Bertha.
EDIT:
So many battleships...just parked next to a worthless island to their north...
Okay so it appears that they have multiple Berthas now but I'm fairly confident I can still solve this, I'm prepping a wing of Hurricane bombers for a one-way raid on them, and if that doesn't work I'm going nuclear.

Nice work. Wish I could have more useful input but I'd have to be watching real time. Watch for short range arties. And see about setting a forward assault base with arties I guess.
Ever had a commander randomly appear at the back of your base and D-gun your fusion reactors before? He apparently had walked across the map edge. To reach a single metal deposit at the back of my base of poor quality.

It's Ring Atoll so there's not a lot of real estate for forward bases, not to mention there are maybe 3 islands currently outside the killzone of these Berthas. Cost me a Warlord to learn that bit.

Forward bases can be under-water now. Or in the ocean. Skyplanes and an air force to prod them then?.

Seaplanes are by and large worthless against land bases, however I was able to finally locate and nuke the Berthas with some Vamps.
Also TIL a Krogoth takes longer than a minute to recover from being stunlocked by a spider.

Yeah but I'm not gonna spend 20 torp bombers at a time to try and walk a payload onto target.
Only takes 6 torpedoes to pop a long range arty usually... Don't underestimate the power of good aim and using things in ways they aren't supposed to be.

Like using pickaxes as a melee weapon in Terraria. It's actually quite shocking how many people don't expect that. One guy I was PvP'ing with just stood there, and I asked him why afterwards, he said ''I thought you were joking or something, I was waiting for you to use an actual weapon.''.
