I have Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4, Oblivion, and Skyrim, and the DLC for all of them.
But I've heard Fallout 3 is the most buggy and hard annoying to stably mod of all of them. I've also played it before on the Xbox 360, and I much prefer New Vegas to it...
Auuugghh... I can't decide whether or not I want to get it. On one hand, I have enough money to do so. On the other hand, would I play it when I have the other games to play? (I don't want it to end up like Oblivion - I never play that game)

It has severe issues running on newer systems so unless your computer is windows XP, no.  Don't touch it.

apparently fallout 4 needs .ini edits to be modded properly now too? or is NMM fucking with me because there's no "launcher" section of the .ini

I'm just watching youtube videos until someone is up for co-op or sommat online. Eh.

I've decided that the proto vault suit mod is infinitely better than the actual vault suit with the exception of the mass effect style hex material, like seriously even if they are underground the regular vault suit is the least rugged looking article of clothing I've ever seen. It's hard to imagine it ending a week in the wasteland still intact.

....not sure if air pocket in pizza dough that burst or bugs ate their way in and nested. If it was bugs they're gone now and I'm confident enough in the oven sterilizing things to assume air bubble.

True, because the official modding tools haven't been released yet and mods haven't been officially supported yet as a result.
Only one line needs to be changed, and this will almost certainly be fixed when the creation kit is released, so it isn't a big deal.
Also, have fun with NMM. It's terribad. I can't believe I ever used to use it ;A; MO is infinitely better, but it the F4 edition is still WIP q.q

Oh yes, that mod. I intend to install it. I mean, it isn't even that non-lore-friendly, since they state Vault 111 is one of their most advanced facilities, they have their own Pipboy variations and the door is horizontal... Not a stretch to think they may have more interesting and less godsawful Vault Suits around there too. I know it's iconic and all, but so is Power Armor and there's a new focus set every game. Might actually make me okay with using the vault suit. All I need is a mod that lets me put an overcoat on top of it. Preferably a trenchcoat in line with the Drifter's Outfit or something :3 (Have I mentioned how I love the seemingly increased prevelance of long coats in F4? Seriously, it's great. Esp. with the wonderful cloth physics.)

you'll likely need a separate mod for the overcoats thing.

On a totally unrelated note Ehks may think the constant rain sucks but he didn't spend 3 hours yesterday driving through it. Half while sleep deprived.
