Hmm. I heard that it was similar to EvE (although edging onto the "kinda similar" category what with all the singleplayer), so I guessed it would be a good game to play during my EvE downtimes.
I guess I'll just scroll through Steam Reviews until I can find one that isn't obvious seething hate/gushing fanboy.
If you want a "vaguely like EVE" game I recommend Rebel Galaxy or Starsector. Starsector even has an EVE mod but is still alpha.

I've heard of Rebel Galaxy, seen some videos, read some reviews, doesn't seem as impressive as "vague EvE" would make it out to be.
Starsector is 2D and in Early Access.
I've looked around and seems like I should skip over Reunion, and the series as a whole apparently still has a fanbase of adequate size. Terran conflict even has an EvE mod.
It feels as if a great weight was lifted from my shoulders, like my soul has been liberated...
Realizing I actually do not like EvE Online is quite the experience. I guess this is what happens when I slowly chop off my MMO playtime.
I was going to complain about having high end particle cannons as the zuul breaking some sort of immersion then I remembered that they're a race known for psionically torturing slaves for their own amusement and decided I didn't want to be immersed.
Yay, I designed a tower in Minecraft that doesn't look like total crap!
I'm actually quite proud of this tower. Definitely going to save a schematic. It'd be hell to build in survival though x.x
I would post pictures, but A. I doubt anyone would care and B. that would require me taking a bunch of pictures, cropping, uploading, and posting them... So you'll have to take my word for it.

I've recently been playing Terran Conflict and I would definitely recommend it if you like these kind of space games.

Show it to me and I will tell you all the things wrong with it!
Eh, screw it, but no interior shots or 360 view. That would take forever.

Looks pretty good!
My only real criticism would be to add a secondary color/texture to break up the monotony of it all being the same material. And possibly using a few more lighting sources to show stuff better.
You don't have to have them -everywhere-, mind you, but it's slightly hard to see the details on your build given the lighting.

Perhaps the inner black blocks could be replaced?
That would make the windows look less out of place, too.

It'd allow quick adaptation as a base for modification in bad situations. Plus it'd still be small enough to remain an ODSV. It'd also springboard the capability of adapting the same crude design for other uses in a pinch. Like having the ability for a dropped long range support.
Right now I've drafted replacements for both the Puma and Paladin, the Panther and Partisan respectively, the Panther has one fully articulated arm and one pod, and the Partisan has a pair of smaller manipulators that fold up against its front. However I wonder if the Panther really needs that and I doubt the Partisan's current arms would be any use in righting itself.
I considered semi-articulate arms for the Partisan like the Puma currently uses but that would shift it's high mounted weapons down very low...hmmm...
What of flip up weapons pods that use a flip down reload mechanism to counter the reloading issues?

Yeah, I wasn't sure what to do with the walls, so I just used Black Stained Clay the whole way through...
All the others are weirdly reddish tinted and I don't want it too bright, either.
Not sure what I could replace it with since I'm trying to only use Vanilla blocks.
As for the lighting, I haven't really placed any yet, and from this distance yeah the details are hard to see, especially at night.
I hate putting torches everywhere but I need to make sure things can't spawn :/ Bleh.

I think some oriental style could work with this building.

That's wonderfully vague.

Argh! I have to agree... I can't stand those things, especially when people put them first and foremost. Yes, you can identify whether you want to be called male or female or neither, but that shouldn't be the first thing you say, and please no bizzare half-non-double-ex-somewhat-ish-micro-gender pronouns. We already have a non-biased catch-all known as "they" and "them", we do not need 50 billion ones for every possible combination of everything under the sun. Because quite honestly, I, and a whole lot of other people, do not care what/who/when you identify as, since it is completely irrelevant to us. It's like walking up to a stranger on the street and whispering loudly in their ear "I AM A PANGENDER BISEXUAL AND I GO BY THE PRONOUNS CHE AND CHIM!!1!!1one!! THE MORRRRE YOU KNOWWW~" Sure, if your friends are interested, please, by all means, tell them, but otherwise, nobody wants to know, nor does it matter if they know.
Know I'm late to the party, but I wanted to throw my two cents in for the topic as well (even though it's pretty similar to yours). I can't stand ridiculous gender pronouns either (for example, this kid in my Homeroom demands they be referred to as ''Zir'' ''Zem'' or ''Zhey''), you either identify as male, female, or something else, and I'm not going to learn genderese just so you can get that warm fuzzy feeling in your stomach. Another thing I hate is how there's an ''other'' checkbox for genders on things like job application forms (or even medical forms). You can have your cute little ''identity'', but at the end of the day, you either have a dick or you don't.
