So I bought a supercarrier, big godamn thing, 7 flight decks and enough gun batteries to ward off most attackers, then I go bounty hunting, bite off more than I can chew, and it comes down to just the carrier against a small fleet's worth of cruisers and destroyers.
Against all odds the carrier simply shrugged off a level of structural damage that should have ripped it in half and continuously pumped fire into the enemy until they had to withdraw to lick their wounds.
I am fucking speechless after that, I have never seen a warship, nevermind a second line warship, shrug off so much PUNISHMENT.

I'm not sure is there something excutioner class sized, but those pirates surely deserved that kind of punishment.

I'm not sure is there something excutioner class sized, but those pirates surely deserved that kind of punishment.
they just cost me one of the largest classes of ship in the sector, the only larger vessel is the Cathedral, which is nigh impossible to acquire.
I can't come at them with another super-capital right away (because they cost nearly 500k each) but I've got a Ceasar-class dreadnought to spearhead my offensive.

Fixed positions? Son we're in space and they simply overwhelmed the supercarrier by merging two large fleets into a veritable death blob while we were still rearming the squadrons. They're getting the better part of 100 marines shoved into their little "hideout"

...I prefer the NV/3 hud in every way. The animated icons and flashy flashy things are annoying. The health/ammo/etc. all looked nicer, and the compass was in a much nicer position.

not to mention things keeps fading in and out, and the iconed compass is actually alot cluttering(but atleast the hostile & quest indicator is improved showing higher/lower elevation)
