How to expand on something as ambitious as PA? With more variety of tactical options of course! Uber decided that after the annihilaser they were done giving away free content, and completely re-released the game at full price. Don't worry though if you already spent $80 on the "old" one you get 66% off titans if you act now! Questionable business tactics aside Titans feels very much like the base game, exceedingly ambitious but it falls a bit short. While many of the new features such as nuclear suicide tanks and mini unit cannons are genuinely cool and the orbital battleships and teleporters are a sorely needed injection of options others such as the hulking towering Atlas titan on the main menu or the Artemis orbital railgun feel a bit half-hearted, one is literally the largest unit in the game but has no weapons and thus is forced to stomp on things and the other is basically an orbital railgun that can only target other orbital units, perhaps it is useful for sieging defensive anchor stations but a battleship seems to be versatile enough to make it the better choice there. With regards to PA's signature planet cracking there are a few changes, smashing one planet into another now destroys both instead of just making a big crater, and if you have a foothold on a planet but can't push out of it then the new ragnarok titan allows you to bore out it's core and watch the planet collapse. Outside of a few very needed and very handy but still somewhat niche additions though this is still PA, if you missed the original Titans may be worth a look, but if you already paid Uber for PA there really seems to be no excuse for them not giving this to you for a lot less than they are, if not for free.
Did you not already know about this? This has been a thing for a few months ago and I've been likeningĀ UberĀ to EA since.
Sorry, I'm of to play some SupCom. I also need to find a way to get a lot of my games onto Steam.

I do mean in-depth too.
anyways after laughing at how poor their character preview sprites are I decided to observe a round and see if there was any sense to be found in the actual users.
The first text message I was greeted by (as observers can "hear" all messages and actions around the station) was...was...*shudders*
let's just say that tentacles don't belong down there.
It's a vile and perverted place that represents the worst that furries are capable of.
I honestly don't understand why you're subjecting yourself to this if you find it so disgusting. Simply so you can have fun by bashing it?
Well my initial assumption was that they had kitbashed fucktons of features into a single codebase, and some fucked up stuff got in with it all and people occasionally used it. I figured it would function like any other server on the inside but with more speshul snowflakes. In 5 seconds they managed to legitimately disgust me.
I do not spook easily but that...that was not something I ever want to think about again.

I find it funny how you went into the server expecting it to be "normal" when it's obvious that it is intended to not be so.

Normal is relative on SS13, a game where you can join a round in progress to find the entire security department defeated by floor wax, a hostile agent in a hardsuit riding around on a zamboni, a maintenance drone ripping out sections of the wall, and a clown throwing around pies and it's all pretty much just another day.

This seems more and more like a game I should play. Just not on that server...

basically it's going to take you a few minutes to figure out how to walk, another few to figure out how to talk, then somebody is gonna bash your skull in with a toolbox and steal your pants because grrrr goons.

Yes... However, what I meant was more along the lines of "it has a lot of really subjectively bizzare features and yet you didn't expect it to have a lot of people who do a lot of really bizzare things, apparently?"

Well all the features on that server are probably found elsewhere (vorestation is something of an urban legend in the SS13 community except it's confirmed to be a legitimate private server and probably more chill than you might infer) and I expected an extensive degree of "special snowflake syndrome" in the users but I was NOT prepared for eldritch horrors in the bedroom.

Actually somebody suicide bombed a bunch of furry players on a different station yesterday. So I guess people are working on it.

were they engaging in...tentacle-to-mouth bedroom activities? if so they had
every right to do that.
