Did anyone ever read Ready Player One by Ernest Cline? Great book, a little shallow and too nerdy at times, but overall in my top 5 of all time.

I would assume so. CCP seemed all excited that there was a big war going on, they were making a huge marketting campaign out of it being the next great war in EVE.

I dunno. I might turn my account on again for a little while just to unload everything I can do without while the wartime demand has the prices through the roof.

I imagine it won't drag too long. Goonswarm hasn't put up a fight at all and is getting steamrolled.

Let's be honest, most of the volume that compasses Goonswarm had it's supports built with thin propaganda and fear of retaliation, both of which crumple like paper.

The Mittani was tossing around lots of propaganda, which his royal subjects actually believed, by the way, about how every pyrrhic victory was a total success and every defeat was a setback. I can't think of one major battle for them in the last year and a half that was an actual straight victory.

The reality being they were too large to respond to field changes, too hopped up on their own shit to follow common sense, and too deeply troubled to be stable for long.

So I just opened skype... It needed to update... Okay... AND THEN THE UPDATE MESSAGE COMES UP IN SOME FOREIGN LANGUAGE (Google translate's best guess appears to be Danish)
So I translated the options it was giving me, updated...
AND IT IS STILL IN DANISH.

On a related note, a lot of Danish is surprisingly intuitive. Seems like it's one of the languages close to English. Lot of similar words. Now to figure out where the language menu is...
