Im pretty sure you dont need above laser for a orbital weapon, god's rods should be suffice. Or just allahuakbar your troops and hope for the best take that beast down.

Kinetic rods are unfortunately not in the game.
Oh c'mon that's probably the cheapest orbital weapon, the other is more or less ICBM(sub orbital) they really have to put silly death laser as the only orbital weapon.

Well the orbital laser most likely, but the planet carver should offer some impressive killing power.
Posts to the nexus at these times seem to occur in bursts.
There are one or two hours of nothing, then multiple posts in quick succession, and then another hour of nothing.

Star Wars seems to be in a bit of a rut. Not unlike Battletech after FASA imploded, but hopefully also like Battletech it'll get back into it's stride someday.
