I like to think they're stickers he put on to go with the costume.
Wait, how does he stick them on his... celestial body... skin...
Oh wait, he's one of those nanobot thingies. Forgot what they're called.
The same way he does with a costume:
somehow.
Yeah, his "skin" is a nonsentient Ateros though it functions as an actual portal to the portion of space shown through it... Yet somehow he's able to pick things up and wear clothes and such. Yes, it doesn't make much sense, and he doesn't really know how it works either, just that it
does.
Ezvrael or U would probably be able to give a better explaination
though it wouldn't make a lot of sense.

Stop making it sound like I hate them.
You don't hate them, I hate them.
As far as I can tell you hate everything, so I'm not as offended by that as I would normally be.

First off, your misaligned pictures and white background bother me very slightly.
Secondly, I'd go with the first one.

I don't hate everything, I just hate lazy writing.
"Look I'm programmable matter that has decided to constrain itself to the physical limitations of a human being"
First of all, programmable matter, or nanites, are basically the worst thing to have in a narrative, they're either always underutilized, or horribly abused. The explanation behind them usually goes something like this:
Which literally explains nothing...

WOW no blue 0/10
#1 is therefore best, though #4 also looks good.

None of that matters though. All that matters is whether or not it's a cool idea.

You want to invalidate my attempt to bring half fucking decent story telling to this place, using the rule of cool?

I didn't mean anything by it. It was just a joke based on how I had never used this thread until I needed to ask you guys for something despite having an account for months and reading the thread regularly, therefore me never having a "Use" for it before.
It was a badly worded joke, so sorry.

Making things the same size in paint is hard and also takes effort???? So that's not happening
Thanks for the suggestions though, guys. I think I'm probably going to go with two but I'll wait a little while longer.

I originally had rules for them, though nobody really paid much attention so I just gave up with getting those to apply to everyone. You'll notice that any I've had control of have generally been limited to one or two forms and have all sorts of issues caused by the barely understood and buggy technology.
Secondly, I know Shopkeep's Ateros makes
especially little sense, which is probably because I retroactively retconned his form into being sustained by Ateros. That's what happens when you try to integrate what was originally intended to be an intentionally-overpowered one-off joke character into the story because they ended up being surprisingly popular. If it's any consolation, his Ateros has been all but completely destroyed with only a few fragments remaining at best, and he himself is pretty much gone for good. He may show up a few more times but he's pretty much been phased out of the semiserious "story" completely.
Hell, I don't even know if I'll ever continue the RP since I continue to have zero motivation to do anything anymore asides from sheer boredom.

Yes.
I'm just plain mad right now, mad at all the assholes I have to deal with daily, mad at the awkward silence going on between me and the majority of my friends, mad that I just feel so deeply alone even when I'm surrounded by people, mad at myself for being unable to sustain a remotely deep friendship with anyone without ruining it... mad mad mad mad mad mad ma-
Screw it...

Aye, what's with all the 200% mad dank memes, also the shopkeeper's eye is kinda based on Rebornica's drawing of the same celestial/nebula being, just lazily drawn blank white eyes that changes shape based on emotion,
And for buddha's shake, stop saying "waddaya buyin stranger"
Also if you want the standalone version do notify me, I can arrange that.

look at his profile pic. he uh kinda already beat you to the punch there.
These Scalaron blasters are hilarious. Just a giant bolt of dimensional energies that very violently rips apart the target ship's innards.
