I mean, it isn't...that hard, I guess? I get stupidly nervous in situations like that as well, but it's not that bad. You just need some money (At the bank I use, you need a minimum $25 USD in a checking account, otherwise you get fined...yeah.) and just need to ask to make a bank account. You also get a debit card when opening a checking account so you could PAYPAL and stuff.

If you're old enough to have a bank account I'm pretty sure you can just go to the bank and make it yourself.
