Do you remember why you were in there in the first place?
Because we had issues with the current forum, and people were scattered all over the place.

And somehow you assume that your initial impression of something is the only way it ever is, without even -actually- having partaken in "The skype group"

It's not about quality posting, and never was.
Surely any potential issues that were before couldn't have been remedied by now either, seeing as you have a complete and utter understanding of how things work in there.

the issue here isn't post quality
it's just the metric fuckton of conversations that happen at once
people prefer skype because it's just easier
conversations are quick and short
compared to here when you get walls of text followed by pictures of whatever which makes scrolling through the whole goddamn thing a chore
it puts people off
just have more than one thread 

if people can't get on of here because of "connection issues" then that's probably your fault for using seraphimlabs rather than forumotion or other forum hosts that people actually know

The preface "when I was there" is of supreme importance to the context of my statement. It does not imply that I have total knowledge of what goes on in your nexus 1.5, merely that what knowledge I do have is amusingly contradictory to what you claim makes it superior to 1.0.

You're making other people talking amongst themselves affect you by feeling left out of the fun, so yes, affected.
You wouldn't have use for that form of communication even if you were in it, so it shouldn't matter to you.
