So xenonauts has the chryssalid effectively. Except it creates a zombie on hit instead of on kill. Every blow is fatal.

Heck, are you on insane? The aliens progressed alot faster.in your game, are you letting them get away, completing their mission? Like not have radar coverage on all continents.
also how many grunts have you lost?

I had a lot of corvettes get away. Like for a month or two practically only corvettes would show up and always en masse after one of my interceptors was engaging something smaller. It was many months after they started appearing before I downed one.

Yep, they are popping up in your blind spot, and they do complete their mission when the got away and they progress faster doing that, you can assume.manual control on the interceptors if the odds are low for.auto.resolve, else auto resolve
