Nihalla, as a character, is not from the dimension of this setting. She would not even have a crystal, and unless the universe forms one for you the instant you enter, she wouldn't get one.
It is effectively a nerf to keep in line with her lore. What balances it right now is that her body is safer than anything else right now, but she literally has no way of interacting with any physical matter beyond speaking and being seen, and even her sense of time is messed up: every time she is brought through the veils between, it's her own personal timeframe. No time passes for her in between storms, effectively.
Edit note: apparently it was a little different than I realized. Regardless, I do not intend for her to be freed from the dimensional 'prison' she's in for some time, if at all, so it's mostly moot.

What I meant is that you couldn't have known that Tueor had taken the crystal and also known Tueor's thoughts, because not only were you a fair distance from the crash site, last I checked, you dont have psychic powers. I am well aware of the crystal rule, but Tueor really doesn't care about it. He has a job to do, and he's determined to do it, regardless of the cost. On top of that, last I checked, he hasn't learned about that in character, or at least not in depth. All he knows is that those crystals drop from dead people, and can revive people. Nothing more, nothing less.

and yes not being physical it would not effect nihalla.
