Don't forget about unlicensed dealers and unmarked weapons developement by small or unfunded groups that have the know-how. Un-tracable weaponry used in things like assassination are often run through/built by such groups. Alternately scrap and refurbished weapons.

Well, as far as mental problems go, it's just childhood trauma (his parents were sniped in his presence) and an unwillingness to ask for anything/fear of rejection.

I almost drowned twenty times as a kid thanks to other people and had to get stabbed with needles 9 times when I was only three. I think I turned out all right. I mean. Ah. I just took his name from a character in a graphic novel/2 music albums. I'm having trouble with a last name.
The origins of his first name fit really well with the character, though- I found out that a couple of songs from the band almost perfectly described him/his life.

I think I might go with Davenport. Not only is it the last name of one of my favorite Assassin's Creed characters, but it's not a common name and goes well with the first. Also hints at some character inspiration.
