love it.
why do you think it's a good idea to have the ((I really dont know what's called)) on the wing, why cant it be like on ooh, the intensity/pulsating of the reheat?(I dont think intakes suppose to glow)/glowie parts.

Because that wouldn't look right.

but the angled wing, makes that thing not straight, and nothing to counter the uneveness

It's angled intentionally. It doesn't line up with the wing like that on it's own and I can't stagger the bases of the bars to prevent the sides from being cut off by the fuselage so this makes the whole thing as visible as possible.

could you make it atleast straight vertically with the tips of the bar at the same angle on the wing, also the bars can be infront of the rudder/V-tail

No I can't.

Best part about it is "um"

I can say that all day and claim I'm "in character" despite disliking "pokespeech"

Maybe it's just me but an equaliser/visualiser seems like a kind of obnoxious thing to put on a desktop in general.

No, that works well if placed correctly, which on Surge's case, not
It looks angled and not even to the eye, if the bars is vertically straight while keeping the slope of the wing on the base that could work.

Definitely just you. They're all the rage over at /r/rainmeter

Except it's largely for Surge's tastes

If he likes it, then there's no real "appropriate" way to put it.

So all of this discussion on where to put it is kind-of moot

Or to simplify that, Surge is obviously pleased with it. Arguing on where it could go isn't very nice because he'll be the only one seeing it day in and out.

Also there is really no way for the visualizer to remain vertical and follow the angle of the wing. The bars cannot be staggered like that because a new visualizer would have to be created where the code allows me to tweak the Y position of each bar, or where I am able to place each bar individually. Each method is tedious and relatively code intensive (generally speaking the code of each widget is easy to sift through, maybe a page or two for larger ones like visualizers), so not only can I not make it most will not see a reason to make it.

I attempted a regular flat visualizer but only the left bars were properly visible and I didn't like that.

I've seen some circular/curved visualizers before(not sure is it rainmeter though) but you dont have to place each bars if you can just reshape the "grid" of the visualizer to a parallelogram

Those are created in that specific shape, usually to match up with another skin element, not with a random wallpaper.

...How did I end up back here?  I never really expected to be here again...it's like midnight or something, I should be asleep so I can have that job interview in the morning, but no, I find myself back here again.
...Well, might as well get myself up-to-date while I'm here.
