Correction = the first video was an hour long, and it's partky due to myself explaining things since the game is newly released and I was one of the playtesters.
They'll either get shorter as I need to describe less, or stay about the same but get more done technically. Besides, it's a tactical game. It takes a while to do things largely because of the nature of the combat.

I'm back from a long session of introspection and deep thought, and I've come out of it with a much better understanding of my situation and newfound knowledge of what I need to do to improve it.
I could write an epic speech that sounds epic and is full of quotable phrases, but the more I talk about it the less likely I am to do it. So, basically:
-Procrastination is the enemy, i start something but procrastinate until the steam runs out, then nothing happens.
-Anger and malcontent fuel the flames of change, but they don't last on their own. I need to make them last, keep fueling the fire with things that I want to change one by one.
-Structure is key, without it procrastination gains too much ground. I need to be rigid, have a plan and follow it to the letter. Therefore every week I will devote at least 3 hours EVERY day to changing something in my life for the better, be it bettering my appearance with better hygiene or how I conduct myself, improving my physical health with exercise, or improving my mental health with meditation or by learning something new, be it how to draw or a new coding language.
-Friends exist and can help me, but i first must prove I'm worthy of their help by making a few small changes on my own first, as words only travel to the end of the page, but actions can draw their own boundaries.
-my pursuit of little shreds of pleasure are just that, shreds. To truly be happy I have to work hard, be tireless in my resolve.
-everyone has a talent, skills, and a purpose, those who succeed in life know their purpose and make good use of it. For some though it takes a lifetime to find their purpose. I'm not waiting.
-good things do not come to people, people come to the good things.
I am going to take a nap to replenish my energy, as I've already said more than enough. I will keep this all as a reminder, read it every day so I can never forget what I must do, because when I wake up, I WILL make something happen, there will be no further rest until I do. I will print this into a poster and place it on the ceiling if I must, to ensure its the first and last thing I think about every day.

At first I was hella creeped out when people started commenting on the butt of a virtual character I was playing as but in hindsight it was probably just two dudes playing together and getting carried away. That's a perfectly valid explanation to me, you know? Sometimes with friends you start up a joke that involves a third party and the two of you take it a lot further than the third party feels comfortable with because you kinda forget about them.
I can imagine "bro bro bro look at this, our characters are so short I can stick my head in her ass" "what!? holy fuck this game" "I know right!" going on in a teamspeak somewhere as my mind reeled with what was going on.

git init
create a git repository in the pwd (present working directory)
git clone <source>
clone a git repository from another source to the pwd
git add <file>
start tracking a file (or files) under a git repository. Responsive to command line syntax so *.c would track all c source files in the directory for instance
git commit <file> -m 'message'
commit changes to a file (or files) and tag them with a descriptive message with the -m option followed by a string 'message'
git status <options>
shows the status of git files in the repository
git push <destination> <source>
push a git repository or branch from the source to a destination (eg. push a local repository to an online service like github)
git tag <tagname>
create a descriptive tag which identifies the current build
git checkout <commit or build>
get a specified commit or build from a repository
For simple purposes you are mostly interested in the first four: git init/clone to get an existing repository or start one, git add to start tracking files and git commit to commit changes made to files. This is kinda oversimplified and you can do a lot more with git but this should help with the basics
