RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 10-31-2015

Ironically Surge is definitely way up there on the weight scale because of his armor. It's not powered just because he didn't want to be bothered to keep in shape, between the power plant and the high density plating it's unlikely he'd be able to move except in short and very tiring bursts without the aid of servos.

jakkai are small but dense.
...not stupid dense just heavy dense. average jakkai is stronger than average human, which means much denser muscle, which means more weight.

well i mean a jakkai probably wouldn't weigh much more than 90 pounds at the most.
...actually i need to look at what a human would weigh when they're only 2'9", so i can make a more accurate weight comparison...

I'm pretty sure I could at least weigh him down.

But my feathery bottom needs a resting place too.

I promise it won't be too unpleasant, I am mostly fluff.

I can imagine "bro bro bro look at this, our characters are so short I can stick my head in her ass" "what!? holy fuck this game" "I know right!" going on in a teamspeak somewhere as my mind reeled with what was going on.
Wait, seriously? I've played a bunch of MMOs with female characters, and never once has anyone made any sort of comment about it.
I'll add that to the "list of reasons not to bother trying Wildstar again."

Meh, I might make this my avatar again:
-floof-
Return of the chibi-FLOOF!

Meanwhile I still don't have anything really "avatar"-y...
Think I'm finally gonna request something soon...
Like an actual avatar.

The days of various spinning gear gifs will be over (or will they? DUN DUN DUUUN.)

That's right, you heard it here, the mysterious entity which inhabits the Nexus known as [REDACTED] or in some cases Shaadaris, is (probably) getting a face to go with the name! (The former, not the latter.)

Yeah, but I'll stick to games where the people tend to be more... sedate?

Remember that this was a level 1 zone, totally new characters and their players do not necessarily represent any significant chunk of the playerbase as many will simply quit at some point or not invest themselves in the community.

Good point. That and I'm generally careful who I interact with (read: horribly antisocial)

Yeah no these guys just happened to have spawned in at the same time I did, I'm sticking with my theory that they're two friends who were dicking around and I just was in the wrong place at the wrong time so I got caught in the crossfire of their nonsense. Imagine hanging out with two acquaintances when suddenly they get into a pitched argument over something trivial, then after a minute or so they stop and laugh because it was all an inside joke to them. You had no idea and no amount of explaining will undo your confusion, so you're understandably uncomfortable, they're having such a great time though that odds are they won't notice.
