Unless of course you already have 6-8g cards or something in which case like fucking hell you need more RAM. Unless of course you already have 6-8g cards or something in which case like fucking hell you need more RAM. This is a shitty mobo which doesn't have the (physical) space for it. New mobo = new CPU (because current one uses an outdated socket type). Old RAM will probably work in a new mobo but it's basically an excuse to upgrade to DDR4 (I'd just need to buy 2x8GB sticks if I wanna upgrade to 16GB, it's not much more expensive to make it DDR4 sticks). All in all I'm in for about a grand for that, a little over if I wanna get a watercooler for the CPU (~$350-400 CPU, ~$300-350 mobo, ~$200 RAM, ~$120(?) water cooling for CPU). New monitor I've been looking at will run me about $750, looking at a mechanical keyboard which will be ~$150 too. Basically only bit I'd keep is my GPU (which is basically what's keeping this rig together, an otherwise barely above average comp backed by a fucking powerhouse GPU) RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - SCN-3_NULL - 09-27-2015 all I need is a new case and my prebuild lenovo k550B will last for the next 3-5 years, the power button on its default case has gone.....lose RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 09-27-2015 (09-27-2015, 01:17 PM)SCN-3_NULL Wrote: all I need is a new case and my prebuild lenovo k550B will last for the next 3-5 years, the power button on its default case has gone.....lose>Lenovo Did you get rid of the spyware?
