Marx did 3 different things that not only were disruptive in the extreme none of them actually accomplished anything, and that's before we got to the giant walking tank. The inherent problem in what he did, aside from creating the very thing he complained about others having and using it, was trying to make it so people couldn't ignore what he was doing instead of making it just simply noticeable and then being patient. I've made the mistake of trying to literally drag people into an arc before but I learned from that mistake because the large sweeping actions required to force people to notice you are disruptive and inconsiderate not only to other players but also to NPCs, who shouldn't be treated as disposable just because they're NPCs.

It was only 6 feet tall...

And I was stumbling around how to deal with UnamusedAvali 's shenanigans.

This is why I like the idea of leaving, people are so strict against EVERYTHING I do.
Do we have a point though? Always ask yourself that question. "Do they have a point? Can I learn from this?" Haters gonna hate and you shouldn't let that bring you down but you also shouldn't pass up a chance to better yourself.

Hey, uh, can we stop throwing coal in the fire?
I don't think anyone wants to keep discussing this.

Surge.

Please find something better to do than complain about everything others do then complain when they get frustrated with you.

There's a point where it ceases to be constructive and turns disruptive.

That line has been crossed too many times.

End of discussion.

I have said what I wanted to say about it so I will stop talking about this now before I get yelled at.

I'd rather like to keep discussing it mostly because it's more difficult for Marx to ignore me here than on Steam.

You can't just pretend there's no problem because then it's just going to keep popping up over and over again.
It's not healthy to brush these things off and hope they go away, nor is it healthy to pick sides based on individuals instead of the merits of their position.

Sounds to me like you only want that so you can make Marx even more miserable.

You brought it up, pointed it out, and people agreed with you. The point has been made, and everyone else is done.

Point taken surge, now please fuck off.

You know, its funny that I came up with the idea for the casual RP rebirth, but 30 some pages in and I've yet to actually put my character in it again.

Its moving so quickly again that I can't keep up, every time I see a possible entrance by the time I can sit down and reply I've missed it.l

A bit harsh no? Uncomfortable truth sometimes has to be confronted to avoid a painful revelation later. It's not pleasant to be told that you're doing something wrong but it's harder to find out that you've been doing something wrong for a long time, and it's left a stain on your reputation. I've let this go on for a relatively long time and I hate how poorly this reflects on Marx, but he has demonstrated time and time again that he doesn't want to accept these lessons for what they are and so I feel that I must press the issue or he'll put it out of his mind and we'll be back here again before long.

I don't think it is because your first and so far only reaction has been hostility and to self-victimize. I don't believe that you've actually taken any of this to heart or even considered the lesson I want you to learn here but that isn't going to change in the next 5 or 10 minutes and I'm only going to hit more and more resistance the more I press the issue so I'll just implore you to think about it and leave it at that.

I get what you are trying to do, and to some extend, I would agree.
However, doing this with no consideration for the other person's emotional state is simply wrong.

If Marxon was like me, you could probably do this as much as you want. Or at least until we both get banned.

I understand his fragile emotional state and that's part of why I hate this so much, but we can't give him a free pass to ignore anything unpleasant forever because something will catch him eventually and it will hit him so much harder than I can...

Here's another thing, you're endlessly condescending.

I move that Surge be placed on a one month probationary period due to his constant badgering behavior when he feels that someone needs to be corrected.

It is not his job, nobody wants a person who thinks they know better to have an opinion shoved down their throat, regardless of how valid it may be.

This has gone on much too long and I demand something be done to put a stop to it.

I'm trying to help because I went through something similar when I was a little kid, I thought I had things figured out and all was well and then I learned that nobody cared about or liked me or what I did because I did it the very much wrong way and it completely shattered me. Then I see you keep doing the wrong things that people take obvious issue with but don't confront you about out of courtesy, but courtesy only goes so far and we keep having these scenes that I know must hurt to sit through because I've been in your position on more occasions than just one but I learned my lessons and I got out of it all. I guess what I'm thinking is that my life may be fucked a dozen different ways but I can still help spare you from a lot of long term hurt with a little in the short term...

So no it's not my job, I'm doing it out of the goodness of my heart.
