Marx did 3 different things that not only were disruptive in the extreme none of them actually accomplished anything, and that's before we got to the giant walking tank. The inherent problem in what he did, aside from creating the very thing he complained about others having and using it, was trying to make it so people couldn't ignore what he was doing instead of making it just simply noticeable and then being patient. I've made the mistake of trying to literally drag people into an arc before but I learned from that mistake because the large sweeping actions required to force people to notice you are disruptive and inconsiderate not only to other players but also to NPCs, who shouldn't be treated as disposable just because they're NPCs. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Umbra - 11-09-2015 Hey, uh, can we stop throwing coal in the fire? I don't think anyone wants to keep discussing this. Haters gonna hate and you shouldn't let that bring you down but you also shouldn't pass up a chance to better yourself. Please find something better to do than complain about everything others do then complain when they get frustrated with you. There's a point where it ceases to be constructive and turns disruptive. That line has been crossed too many times. End of discussion. You can't just pretend there's no problem because then it's just going to keep popping up over and over again. It's not healthy to brush these things off and hope they go away, nor is it healthy to pick sides based on individuals instead of the merits of their position. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - OdinYggd - 11-09-2015 You know, its funny that I came up with the idea for the casual RP rebirth, but 30 some pages in and I've yet to actually put my character in it again. Its moving so quickly again that I can't keep up, every time I see a possible entrance by the time I can sit down and reply I've missed it.l RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 11-09-2015 (11-09-2015, 07:06 PM)Jim_Clonk Wrote:A bit harsh no? I've let this go on for a relatively long time and I hate how poorly this reflects on Marx, but he has demonstrated time and time again that he doesn't want to accept these lessons for what they are and so I feel that I must press the issue or he'll put it out of his mind and we'll be back here again before long.(11-09-2015, 07:01 PM)Surge Wrote: I'd rather like to keep discussing it mostly because it's more difficult for Marx to ignore me here than on Steam.Sounds to me like you only want that so you can make Marx even more miserable. I don't believe that you've actually taken any of this to heart or even considered the lesson I want you to learn here but that isn't going to change in the next 5 or 10 minutes and I'm only going to hit more and more resistance the more I press the issue so I'll just implore you to think about it and leave it at that. I move that Surge be placed on a one month probationary period due to his constant badgering behavior when he feels that someone needs to be corrected. It is not his job, nobody wants a person who thinks they know better to have an opinion shoved down their throat, regardless of how valid it may be.
