Meanwhile in the wasteland.

This is really useful, also has anyone dismissed dogmeat without his dog house? I think I lost my dogmeat

The game magically produced him for a main quest later on after an NPC acquired magical knowledge of his existence.

More story talk, now with later in the main questline

Well since I no longer care about spoilers having been spoiled to the biggest twist anyway, I read through this and just... seriously...
I mean I guess Bethesda expected everyone to take the dog with them? Seriously? That's incredibly stupid. The part about the [gun is sort of almost semi-believable since a robot would probably have much more precise knowledgebases to go off of using knowledge of the types of guns used around there, and your description of the sound to determine the type... maybe] but the dog suddenly teleporting to you because [a NPC with no prior knowledge of the dog mentioned their name]? That's just plain stupid. Way to shoehorn the dog into the story, Beth...

Maybe, just MAYBE he glitch-teleported to you and because he was detected in the cell the info about him came up in the conversation?...
Okay, let's face it, probably not...

Mirelurk queen is dead.
I'm almost totally out of ammo, burned through half my stimpacks, and shattered half of my T-60B, but she's fucking dead.

Fragmines, Molotov and grenades work well on it too, also a head start for you there's also a sentry bot in future mission on the castle, be careful on your next mission visit.

I see you found a silenced weapon, or you found a railgun at hight sneak rank.

The PC doesn't even describe the gunshot, just that he remembers it and that it was a handgun. I'd be willing to excuse it as him jumping to the conclusion that if the report was that memorable it was likely something big, so either a rechambered 10mm or a .44 and the .44 is just more likely, but the entire conversation had been lobbing little red flags at me that the dialogue had been thoroughly stripped to keep it brief.

Nope. I found a .50 receiver for my prized hunting rifle, so I'm hunting super mutants in power armor.

Damnit, everything but the right arm. This fucker was hard to kill - I've never seen a human who can take 2 bottlecap mines, a frag grenade, 15 plasma-infused sniper rounds (under the effects of psychojet) to the head and a clip of laser rifle ammo to down. Their fully modded auto laser pistol and fatman wasn't really helping matters either.

RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 11-17-2015

WHAT!?

THOSE SUPER MUTANTS WERE SITTING ON AN ARMOR FRAME!?

RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Shaadaris - 11-17-2015

My teeth hurt like hell. No, not where my Wisdom Teeth were removed, my front two bottom teeth. WHY?!
In other news, after enough optimization where the full sized image now looks like it was put through a grainy, old TV filter, I finally got my Avatar image to be the <1MB needed to use it.

RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Jim_Clonk - 11-17-2015

I feel like I should get this game too, now.

It's not really noticeable once it's scaled down.
Also, obligatory "needs more jpeg".

Unfortunately the added glow on the lines is also not very noticeable...
Then again, most of that 2MB probably comes from the flickering.

Also, don't tempt me to add severe compression artifacts.

Most of that 2MB probably comes from the fact that you need way more colours when using that blur.
Although, I'm pretty sure you can still reduce the amount of colours needed.

It gets better once you find the silencer for it, you can kill a behemoth with it.

In the optimized version I also reduced it to 16 colors from probably 256.
I could have gone to 8 and that alone would have worked, no graininess needed, however it also made the glows look like hell.
Honestly this is just working as a placeholder for the time being. I have another avatar in the works, presumably, though since I have no idea how long that will take, I decided to update an older one of mine with some flashy new effects for the time being.

Actually, the optimized one is apparently in RGB...
I'm not sure if that's even possible.

It is because I did and the filesize drop is noticable.
To be fair, I did use an online utility to do so.

According to what I know, .gif can ONLY use induced colour pallets.

congrats bethesda, another half-assed "well who's the REAL bad guy here? HUH?" quest that just serves to make everyone involved look like an ass.

Anyways now I'M somewhat uncomfortable because the brotherhood wants me to take a kid into the wasteland and put on a show of killing some mutants for him and frankly, both the kid's outfit and behavior is making me think of the Hitler Youth, which may not necessarily be the most fair analogy but it unsettles me all the same that it can be made at all.

The Original Stargate Movie Trilogy Reboot is still, unfortunately, happening.
That is all. Now, back to your original programming...
