And now for something completely different: Problems with Skyrim #196: These bandits always have their main loot in a single chest at the very end of their coincidentally linear fort, right next to an usually easily accessible "quick-exit" blocked by only a flimsy wooden bar, and this chest is usually locked with no bandit having the key, nor any key existing anywhere in the fort.
it's just game design, who would walk the whole path in reverse just to get out of the cave where they could just not get in the cave in the first place except important quests

weird mod idea for the day, replace all Liberty prime's dialog instead of pro capitalist and anti communist, make it pro communist and anti capitalist

this is awesome!

okay that's it, see you guys in the next few hours, fallout 4 time

So, what would people think if I said Marxon the avali has been seriously injured, and is now suffering long term brain damage rendering him deaf on his right side, resulting in him being unable to navigate, brain damage causing him to be mostly mute, have moderate retrograde amnesia...

And a complete inability to experience sadness.

The first thing I would think is whether or not any of this matches up with actual science, but that's just me.

Just random brain damage can cause people to do crazy things such as having "face blindness"

Indeed it does.

How about recognize it before you finish your sentence, because you already know the answer.

It makes no sense. Impossible.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prediction_in_language_comprehension

Your brain is predisposed to linguistic processing and you are constantly processing people's movements, intonation, speech patterns ( "prosody" etc.) all the time. Research shows that there is a strong correlation between speech production and speech processing, to the point that based on things like syntax you can probabilistically determine what people are going to say next with a surprising degree of accuracy

See: http://web.stanford.edu/~bresnan/86.1.bresnan.pdf

Or to put it another way - your brain is very good at language processing to the point where you can intuitively understand and predict what people are going to say with a surprising degree of accuracy based on things like their sentence structure, tone of voice, facial expressions etc.

It isn't literal precognition though.

I got a Sunder~

Not one of those shitty re-coms either. A full military spec Sunder-class. I've assigned my Shepard to it as a miniature escort carrier.

Well... that's actually not a half-bad idea.

Noice, I keep on getting caught by fleets overly 10 times as large as my own and killed.

Yes, they probably do.

I would like to see a kill list for this heavy blaster wolf. It's getting silly.

I just have complete control over the battlespace in this thing. The where, when, and how of each engagement is mine to decide.

I'm a bit surprised about how little attention the terraria server actually got.
