Sure enough the empire provides for the millions of inhabitants, they guarantee appropriate housing, food, and employment, as the money generated by Tecarian Imperial Arms has nowhere else to go it is all funneled into carefully regulating the quality of life of these people. As perfect as it all sounds though the unfortunate truth is that nothing happens anywhere on Tecar without the empire knowing, if you became in any way involved in a legal matter on the planet you'd probably be very uncomfortable with how much info they can present on any given person and how casually they do, and amidst the crowds of people each individual quickly becomes little more than a number. A number with needs to be cared for of course, it plays out like a very impersonal game of the sims, if you lose your job somebody will quickly inform you that a new one has been arranged, if you run out of food somebody will come by and ask if you need more. Life goes on normally and comfortably but it can quickly become apparent that it only does so because somebody is pulling strings all around you to provide you with what you need. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Umbra - 10-04-2015 So I just discovered an absolutely, stupidly broken community map in Unturned. Not "It doesn't work" broken, but "I was able to get a gun that had pinpoint accuracy and more than enough ammo for it in the first 5 minutes" broken. THERE ARE MILITARY DROPS IN THE POLICE STATIONS, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. /vent RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Gonzogonz - 10-04-2015 well, after reading Dragon in the Dungeon and The Black Collar (well fine i wrote this while i read the two) i wrote up a lil' bit of Nix's story. it's a bit weird and yes, i did send this to my English teacher, sadly it was not really an assignment. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1X_9P9U_lt_fF6Wx9KuN5sio60fwPIXjDIScf1qWbxds/edit?usp=sharing i might make another one for White and Elai, i might not. i might make one where there is more interaction between Elai/White/Nix ect, i might not. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Comito - 10-04-2015 RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 10-04-2015 You know I remember way back when you could get like, these B-list management games really easily and I distinctly recall one where you had to juggle a bunch of supply routes like, shipping raw materials from a mine to a processing plant and then to the final factory so you can export it to a neighboring town for cash and then later on it introduced some light city building which added bus and garbage truck routes to all the traffic you had to manage. I wonder if they ever made another one, because those games would always have like, several different releases with maybe one or two new features.
