And then expand on it. I hate it when content is cut when it has no right to be, especially when files still exist so you know they were going to do it, and were in the process of making it. ... Unless maybe it's something which will be included in a DLC? Maybe every faction will get an extra ending as a DLC which then goes on to expand that faction's storyline from there? That'd be neat too. Though I think I trust mod-makers to do it better, honestly. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 01-04-2016 I will NOW talk about a totally different star wars mod. Tactically it's terrible fleet compositions mean I can usually get away with defending my planets using nothing but a high level starbase, where the trick is to use the endless stream of full reinforcements to keep aggro off the station proper so you can keep replacing losses. The only thing I managed was taking out three star destroyers (mediums) with a single light corrilian corvette. :/ RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 01-04-2016 (01-04-2016, 01:01 AM)Lost Rinoah Wrote:A medium SD would be a Victory, I'm not sure a Correllian Corvette could kill one Acclamator though, a gunship or the hero Corvette maybe. It took an hour and I did it to protect my massive group of ground forces that were on their way to take Corruscant. But it randomly separated my landing force from my space force. Spent that hour flanking behind the star destroyers dodging fire continuously... May have actually been two hours. On an unrelated note, which of these looks better? Shows more movement. Dangit, I have to agree... But it's still not right. ...One of these days I'll make an avatar I'll be happy enough with to keep... Maybe. AAARGGHH! I just realized all the work I've done on my SRS BSNSS RP characters, all the planning I'd done for their story arcs... Them themselves... None of this will work in the new setting. *Defenestrates table* RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 01-04-2016 (01-04-2016, 02:30 AM)Shaadaris Wrote: AAARGGHH!Know what you mean, I don't even know where to start on a character. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Shaadaris - 01-04-2016 >All my plans for SRS RP are falling apart. This includes my work on the race I was making for the SRS RP... I don't want to relegate them to "Those aliens on the starship" and their lore as it stands probably wouldn't work at all, so they're basically out. On that same subject, I originally intended for them to be here and there in the SRS RP and actually have an impact if possible. I also put one in the Semiserious RP, but if that one is the only one I'm going to have, then do I even want to bother? Especially with their language and bizzare alien culture, it seems like it would really be pointless to even bother with any of that for just one character. Which means I've just given up one of my Semiserious characters too, who was introduced just like my others, but I guess just like I did with their initial introductions, stock it up to Early Installment Weirdness and remove/completely change them and their intro. *Defenestrates the window, causing logic to take a holiday and reality to crumble* RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 01-04-2016 Shaad's misery has given me an idea. I could roll out a Jaeran. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - SilverOtter - 01-04-2016 Let's be honest here, there was a severe lack of interest for the original plans, because I sat on them for too long, went nowhere, pissed off some people, and took too long doing anything. Plus it was getting hilariously complex and deep, and forced everyone into way too many limits. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 01-04-2016 Does anyone even actually read my reviews? This one had screenshots and everything. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - SCN-3_NULL - 01-04-2016 uh huh......... welp, I got just above 11rm in my steam wallet, what game(s)/DLC(s) you guys suggest I should get? or I should get another statrak scoped assault rifle? RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Shaadaris - 01-04-2016 You know what needs to be made? A complete savedata overhaul for Skyrim - one that completely changes the way everything is saved and loaded to/from a file. Why? To prevent save bloat and crashes caused by save bloat. This is such an open game that actually exploring shouldn't cause you to end up needing to clean your save with 2-3 tools after every 6 hours of gameplay to avoid sudden and jarring crashes at complete random. I could have sworn such a thing existed, but I'm probably just thinking of the .ini overhaul instead (which is great and all, but not nessessary). Bleh.
