I don't usually watch anything TV or otherwise because it feels like more of a waste of time than sleeping does when such a thing happens as... THat. I had the same thing happen to me a long time ago and my decision was to stop watching outrright. Other things are far more important to me. Hope it doesn't just feel like a drag or end up negatively impacting you. Made someone hate me, actually. Quite a weird subject. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - SCN-3_NULL - 01-05-2016 What exactly did i just find? original http://imgur.com/gallery/wEcx2Jj poor racoon RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Jim_Clonk - 01-05-2016 This is ridiculous. It looks a bit like a liquid a the start... RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 01-05-2016 >4 fusion cores casually left in an ammo box in a no-name raider camp I don't even have any luck perks except idiot savant. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 01-05-2016 today on "Surge's video game ideas that will never happen" I take a break from trying to make the Tecarians the good guys and make them the bad guys. A common theme in "you against the world" action games is a superior foe that you have to outsmart, and so I come to the concept of a Marrian soldier (the player) trapped in a city that is now behind Tecarian lines. The player's goal will be to disrupt Tecarian operations in any way possible while also seeking out gear left behind by his comrades when they were driven from the area. As the Marrians generally use teams of semi-autonomous drones to screen for infantry the player will be salvaging and repairing drones of varying purposes that will help him in combat not only as recon/gun platforms but also as AI squadmates, while he himself will be fairly lavishly equipped since he needs to survive in combat to direct the drones. Ambush tactics would play a heavy role in the gameplay, as well as knowing when to lay low and avoid a fight, and when to let your drones get killed so you can run away and try to grab some more. I'm not sure if it would work better as a sandbox or more linear game. linearity suits deeper progression better but the sandbox will suit the intended gameplay better. Of course this is all mostly moot as the game will never exist, just a neat idea for a game I'm having fun exploring. Steins;Gate is great. Takes like 6 episodes to really get started, but it's great... I wish it had been longer. Which reminds me I still have to watch the movie. Jeez, I completely forgot that existed... Edit: Okay apparently there's a new season being made based off of the VN Steins;Gate Zero. Cool. Add another like... 2 hours to my calculations... *Flop* Maybe if I put off the TV shows and most of the youtube series... 161 - 72 - 30 + 2 = 61 hrs. = 2.5416666666666666666666666666667 days. That is much more managable.... Over time. Yus. Very good. On a related note is great. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 01-06-2016 Have I ever talked to you guys about my idea for a BattleTech D&D game? RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Lost Rinoah - 01-06-2016 (01-06-2016, 12:18 AM)Surge Wrote: Have I ever talked to you guys about my idea for a BattleTech D&D game? the video games and books are based off one. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Surge - 01-06-2016 meanwhile on /r/smite (01-06-2016, 12:25 AM)Lost Rinoah Wrote:(01-06-2016, 12:18 AM)Surge Wrote: Have I ever talked to you guys about my idea for a BattleTech D&D game? which is why it's complicated that my idea is based on MW4M. basically the idea is that you have 5 players including the DM. the 4 players are the pilots of a mercenary company and the DM is the owner of the company, at the start of the game he will handle buying a dropship, hiring support staff, etc, and he will set aside a sum of money to distribute among the pilots and let them buy their own mechs and gear, with the pilots deciding how much of that they each get. So immediately the players have to either agree to all take a fairly mediocre mech or they can try and convince either the other players or DM to give everyone else a crappy mech so they can get a good one. Then that is essentially how it will go down, the DM will provide missions for them to go on and continue to cover most overhead expenses, while providing cash that would go towards mechs and weapons directly to the pilots and letting them sort it out for itself. So the pilots are in control of their own mech and loadout, the DM has a fair bit of artistic freedom in what he puts them through, and for the most part it focuses on the player characters first and foremost because everything else is done behind the scenes. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - SilverOtter - 01-06-2016 I just realized. Reddit is based off of Usenet. Both are a large collection of user-created subsections that focus on a subject, submitting links or text to be commented on. Praise Cthulu! Seriously though, this game is looking cooler and cooler every time I see an update... I also can't believe they somehow thought it would be out in 2015. But they can gladly take their time - it's looking great! I just realized that Starbound is like Terraria but for furries. Why did it take me this long to realize this.
