Fun little story idea. A scrappy merc unit running a lance of D-list mechs is running security on some backwater facility when some clanners show up to ransack the place. So instead of getting the fuck out of the way like sensible people, they hold their ground and talk the clan pilots into a proper trial, 1 lance against 1 star. A little while later the local garrison turns up with a few mechs because they kind of have to, and find the mercs waiting amongst the wrecked mechs of both sides, being down to a single crippled mech themselves. Then they make a fucking mint picking clean the clan mechs of salvage and everyone lived profitably ever after.

....perhaps I've been on Sarna too much.

It is a Rekkai. A deal with Ehks, that for a month (February) I'd be a Jakkai.

And I dunno. A good shipping name for us hasn't been brought up since I've known him

Yesterday. I got 9 kills in my opening ambush turn in Xcom 2. Opening with rocketing five targets killing four by dropping them to their deaths, and the last rushing out for a shotgun blast to the face, and a sniper rifle with five ammo in it using cone of fire on five targets. With my medic laying down a shot on the sectoid that had survived. (The andromedon was the only survivor, and only due to it's second stage) Who soon went down to a bladestorm as it tried to melee my ranger, and they critted it. But this was on the enemy turn, so.
