Can we talk about something that most of us can relate to? Maybe team fortress 2 invasion or god forbid... the Avali. Less than 10% have this undertale game. Besides it's just a fad. Just like homestuck, just like game night, just like everything we get obsessed with. Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Marxon - 10-11-2015 Seems I'm eventually at odds with any community I'm a member of, guess its from a bunch of unpopular opinions. Anyways, anyone interested in bringing back game night? Homestuck is generally liked because, to those who like it, it's good. Complaining about what others like and want to talk about is sort-of selfish. A large part of that is because people care less and less for Starbound. To my knowledge, the Avali are at a standstill. There's nothing to really discuss over them because Ryuu himself isn't doing much at the moment, from what he last told us.. I think your stats are horribly skewed there - I can't even remember the last time I saw somebody post here about TF2 (if at all). Furthermore nobody is stopping you from posting about stuff you wanna talk about. Tell us all about the TF2 invasion - just, don't expect me to relate or respond to it. I haven't played the game for the better part of a decade. Yeah, it the most dissapointing update even after all the build up, seriously more reskins, as if the gun mettle isnt enough, oh amd I even need to spend 10rm for a update ticket!? Not forget to mention my ISP still farts at most game servers. RE: Avali Nexus Forum Thread 3: A crowd. - Ehksidian - 10-11-2015 putting this in here since my response has no place in the rp topic. No. It hasn't gotten more dysfunctional because there's actual authority here. It might seem like it has... but that's only because big arguments are far less common instead of every fifty god damn pages. I have only had to step in with administrative action twice. Twice. And one of those times I banned myself for breaking the #1 rule. I'm getting so god damn sick and tired of always being criticized for having too much power despite almost never using it. I'm sick and tired of everyone always complaining about "oh man things would be so much better if y was a thing instead of z, let's blame it on the admins and mods instead of looking at ourselves and realizing maybe we're the problem instead!" At this point, it honestly feels like a lot of people either take what I do for granted, or outright criticize me for abusing my power (which is the one thing I know for a FACT I don't do.) It's disheartening feeling that, because I know that's probably not the case at all, but 100 positives don't even equal one negative. |
