None of that justifies it though. It's sleazy as hell and because of it I will not consider buying another NVIDIA card. I would say that I use AMD but I don't currently have a Radeon even if my next card will definitely be one.

Sure, what you will buy is your thing. However, when deviantart started their shady business tactics, you were defending them. So you really have no right to complain about this now.

All I recall is that they rebranded premium as core and jacked up the price, which isn't shady so much as it is a dick move.

I'm not sure that there can be any parallels here. DA can't really sabotage their competition unless they put it in their TOS that by posting to DA you forfeit distribution rights, which would be suicide for them to do.

Perhaps if NVIDIA did a price hike after sabotaging AMD? I don't know.

My point is that you could call both of these things "shady business tactic" or "dick move". They did different things, but neither was right.

They probably have lotsa money. Anyways I found a decent modpack that would be almost brilliant... But it uses Minecraft as a base which inevitably means lag, glitchiness.

Well in Beyond Earth you have to be kinda far in the game before your colony can spare the infrastructure to start militarizing orbit. I'm not there yet, hell we don't even have lasers.
