Fighting this foe with sword and shield was proving to be fairly ineffective, but she still hesitated on using her real power in front of other people. After all, there was no guarantee that it wouldn't damage her friends too.

Next thing she knows, she's laying there humiliated by him, when the silver spike rises from the earth and he dissappears.

Rolling onto her side, she struggles onto her feet.

(If you're confused as to what just happened or think I'm powergaming here, in a way I am, basically communicating between realities is very difficult, but 753 has endeavored to keep a rudimentary link between surge and himself, allowing them to exchange small amounts of info across the gulf of the void, and in this case 753 basically went "oh shit, things are getting real" and passed a location on to Surge to hurry towards)
