She was surprised that the avali noticed her. She immediately nodded and tried to signal that she would be back asap before bolting as quietly as she could. She decided to go to the Inn... it be the best place for finding mercs willing to help.

"Well, it's not," The doctor muttered. He slipped on his gloves, and hooked up the passed-out Avali to an IV drip, containing the needed anesthesia. He then began the process of removing and repairing the neural jack. working as quickly and efficiently as possible. He had a few hours, of course...

Three hours later, and the doctor had repaired the damage done to the jack, and did his best to retain any and all data on it as well. He wiped the sweat off his brow, sterilized the jack, and began putting it back in. Thirty minutes after he began, the process was finished. The IV drip was stopped, and the anti-anesthetic was applied to wake Marx up.
