Upon inspection, it is definitely a door. There's a dark and somewhat plain- modern, even- reception area inside, presumably for whatever official needs something done to wait in.
There's a man sitting behind the reception counter in a suit with a headset on. To one side is a metal door lined with the iconic striped hazard pattern that almost looks like some sort of airlock.

The airlock closes behind him- probably just not to let anyone else in.
There's many engineers- mostly Glitch- at work on different projects; some repair, others inventing something new altogether. Funnily enough, even though the Glitch probably don't need it, they're wearing the same protective gear as the organic races inside.
Across the room, Syntax is working on an empty suit of Guard power armor.

She squeaked out as she jumped back tilting her head and wondering what was going on. Her paws swiftly moved to her pistol and already grabbed at the hilt.
"u.... urm... okay.. i will bite... what is going on??? I much rather know before i decide for or against this random jumping of people in broad daylight!"
She was starting to think something was really wrong with Rythian now from this action and the previous actions had bothered her for awhile. She decided to give the benefit of the doubt but keep herself alert and ready in case she was jumped by the avali.
"Does this have to do with what you were doing before!!! What is going on!!! Who is Omolon!!"

Umbra is rudely awakened by his communicator going into a conniption on his nightstand.
He grumbles and picks it up to see the dozen reports of the mugging in progress.
"Rrgh... Every time I try and sleep..."
He must be very tired if his eyes and rings have turned black instead of teal/cyan...
But that doesn't matter, as he gets up and disappears anyway.
