Hey hey! i'm Cameron Hamilton but i prefure being called Middy or Midnight online!

I am a small time game developer who is in the middle of creating his first game which is named Multiplicity Facet a top down shooter themed around a race of birds!

As the title may suggest i am a bird addict and i love everything about them! thats kinda why i adore the Avali to absolute peices although they arent 100% bird like but they are raptors and they are bird ancestors... right?

Anyway imm planning on making my game a series of games and someday i want to make a game where MF's main characters venture to the dark side of their tidle locked planet to find some mysterious alians and the culprit of some incident and if i get permission i would love those "aliens" to be a clan of Avali who have built a small colony the planet's Frozen dark side.

What dom you guys think? i will also be doing smaller just fior fun game projects that i wouldn't mind using OCs for if they suit the mini game in question!

Why hello there! and yes! i have alot plannmed for the game and when i have a pre demo made it will be posted on Maidens of the colidoscope as a priority however if i make alot of friends here and feel comfortabloe here i wouldent have no issue posting it here aswell!

my main reason for joining is becasue i barely have Any avali friends to roleplay with and i love the fluffball so much i would wanna rp with them alot ;w;

im as chill as the others around me~ im really nice and loveable perfect for any feathery friend to show friendship and love towards but i can be rather salty if threatened

If you wish to use the Avali in a game, especially one that's going to be sold, presumably, because people like money, you should probably have a chat with Ryuujin, the creator... He doesn't really show up on these forums a lot anymore, though, so that may be difficult.

Haha, haved fun with trying to figure out RP - our RPs are always a mess.

Here's the handy Shaadaris' Made-Up-On-The-Spot Avali Nexus Guidebook, or SMUOTSANG for short:
1. Don't be a dick. #1 rule of the Nexus. Also the most frequently broken rule... Don't break this rule. At least, try not to. Please.
2. Beware page 169, or any mention of the number 169. Do not question this. Or do. Your call.
3. Expect arguments. They're unfortunately frequent.
4. Ehks is badmin the administrator. No but really though he's cool. Ehksidian, Segolia, and OdinYggd are the currently active moderators. Know these names well, for they are your GODS.
5. There are no birds. Only burds or burbs. They are all the same thing. Therefore, birds do and don't exist at the same time. Expect paradoxes.
6. If you post something very long, or a very large image or gif, or quote a post with one in it, please either Snip (-snip-) it out or [Image: X6hihJg.jpg] (-snop-) it. Or spoiler it. Your choice.
7. Expect lots of non-Avali-centric discussion. While they are still around, since Ryuu stopped working on the SB mod and interest in Starbound has declined, they are rarely the topic of conversation anymore.
8. Go to your User Control Panel. Click Edit Options. Suggested settings to change, if not already changed, are:
-Display posts in classic mode: CHECKED
-Show friendly redirect pages: UNCHECKED
This will make browsing the forum be far nicer, in general.
9. Do not abuse the reputation system. In general, you should probably not even use it much. Don't upvote everything you like constantly, and don't downvote everything you don't agree with. The rep system is kind of broken anyway.
10. When you log in, go to avalinexus.seraphimlabs.com/forum/portal.php. Click new posts, and then on each thread, click the small green arrow. This will take you to the first unread post in that thread. Quite useful with the lack of alerts. Note that you may need to refresh the page for it to bring you to the right post - sometimes it just sends you to the bottom of the page instead, with some people.
11. I reccommend the Source Editor being set by default (the option is on the same page as the ones in 8). It's less finnicky and you can see just what BBCode tags you're using and which are affecting what text. Also very useful for RPing, since we use colours to differentiate characters, mostly.
12. Welcome to the Nexus. You can never leave.
13. Even when you leave, you never leave.

Oh and by the way im really fond on birds, dragons and birds all of which I have an OC for if any of ya wana RP with me ^^ I do have an Avali OC but he is in the works! I plan for him to be an Avali scientist/inventer who has his Ship's AI follow him via a little drone providing scans and information when needed
