Dungeon World / Dungeons and Dragons Playing Thread. (READ THE RULES) - Gonzogonz - 02-20-2016

AVALI DUNGEON WORLD
THE MARE ARBORUM
THE SEA OF TREES.

this is a project me and some chums have been working on:
getting the Avali into the Dungeon World setting, and playing some DnD with possibly some Avali characters on a play-by-post system on the forum.

now this is partially a test, to see if this works. it may crash and burn after a week, but we will (hopefully) do our best to make this work for as long as we want.

now this isn't some private thread, anyone can come by and see what we're doing, like a theater!, and like a theater, you're not meant to leap on stage and interfere.
in other words:
unless you are the following: Rune, Comito, Jerecho, Hetuni or Gonzo, do not post here. there will be a discussion thread where anyone can post what they feel is relevant to the game but this thread is purely for the actions and dice rolls and things of that nature. you're welcome to chat about the game, just keep it in the other thread, okay? good.

now for the players:

the following is how you show what action you do, this is so it's easy to understand what you are doing, though it may change if we decide that.
plain text like this is description, used to describe things like so:

the sword was a simple sharpen length of metal, shiny and silver.

(i will probably also use plain text, specifically separated from actions, for DM-to-player messages)

using "quotations" means it's something the character is saying.

"shoot that goblin in the back, it's a spell caster!"

using *asterisks* to make actions, i'll give a few extra examples.

*i signal for the ranger to drop the body and sneak up to me*

*i block the goblin's spear with my shield, forcing it aside. i then follow up by kicking it to the floor with a boot to the chest then i impale it with my sword*

*i sigh and shake my head at how terrible the ranger is at dealing with locks*

thoughts are things and are like so:

so an example of an action:

*i walk up the the pedestal and inspect it thoroughly before remarking,*
"damn, this thing is dusty as hell, don't think anyone has used this in a while."
the pedestal had a simple motif of a sun with two dragons intertwining on the middle, yet under the thick layer of dust, a gleam of gold was ever apparent to the Thief's eyes.
*i unsheathe my dagger and carefully place it along the edge of the gold motif and try to pry the thing off the pedestal.*

understand the actions now? good!

as for dice rolls, i'll be using a dice rolling website like this one
http://www.brockjones.com/dieroller/dice.htm
since i don't have any fancy dice on hand.

most dice rolls will be done by me, just to keep things going and so things don't slip up in some way, this ma change depending on how we feel the game is going.

So I'm guessing this is dead? If not, I'd like to try and participate if at all possible.
