While it isn't the same as notifications, when you first log in if you go to http://avalinexus.seraphimlabs.com/forum/portal.php off to the side there will be something which says "# new posts". If you then click "view new posts", you will be taken to a screen with every thread listed that has new posts. If you click the green arrow beside each one (I reccommend right clicking and opening in a new tab so you can click all of them) it will take you to the first unread post. People gank models from that game all the time, it's sad that they get stolen a lot because that game had some amazing cyberpunk/scifi design direction.

The premise basically is that robots invaded the world and Kirby can pilot a mech now.

I am still unable to decide whether or not I prefer it.
I find the menus constant popping up in cluttered spaces like a player-home's room to be very annoying and intrusive, and like the larger, more detailed menus you get from direct activation... But at the same time it's so much quicker and far more convenient...
I'd almost like it where it's just the "E) Loot" text, but if you press it, the quick loot menu pops up and then you can do stuff like take, or press R to open transfer, etc. (I would totally make a mod for this if I knew how.)

GOD FUCKING DAMNIT. So my computer isn't just dead, it got killed by something totally out of my control. A power surge fried the motherboard and tripped the circuit breaker on my PSU while I was sleeping.
