Yeah Gold prices are about as high as they've ever been, not helped by the Chinese government buying up every last scrap of the stuff they can lay their hands on.
As for No Mans Sky, i was never interested enough to seek it out, and from what i hear its player numbers have already flat lined; as of a week ago tracking data apparently showed 94% of the playerbase has up and quit.

MRW it's been weeks and only one guy in our group can actually host a megamek match because everybody else has different issues preventing them from hosting, several of which defy explanation. Then that one guy is only available every other week.

I've thought about getting MWO for quite a while, but at the same time, the dread of having to fight other players rather than simply WITH other players keeps such a choice pretty far from being made. Don't like fighting people, causes pointless competitiveness.

I have to wholeheartedly suggest some sort of DnD-esque game to fill the gap with Surge, like Only War, but mechanicum focused for the mech vibe. Just don't make my mistake and get involved with 5 at once, thankfully most of those members overlap and we don't have 3 different sessions from 3 different campaigns a week, not yet anyway.
