extradimensional beings just entered the galaxy and are 100% OP
dozens of stations that are almost as powerful as my entire fleet
not to mention their actual fleets are like 5 times more powerful and there's always like 6 of them
my armada enters their space and they just fucking vanish into nothingness

Yeah Unbidden showing up too early can basically be gg, especially if they're near you.

I am increasingly confident that you can't play Hearts of Iron 4 without making an utter clusterfuck of the planet.
Like, right now Turkey is under Soviet control, Hungary controls Western Russia, the Red Army is isolated in Poland (which still exists) and slogging through to Berlin while the German and Italian armies are fighting the English in Hungary/Russia.
Also an open land war in Manchuria that not even the Soviets care about.
I wanted to take a break from the fighting for the winter because we're out of rifles but really disregard for human life is the Soviet way and the Germans aren't much better off. I can only imagine what hellish battlefield conditions my negligence has created.

The scene was hauntingly surreal, they were so organized despite the desperation of their tactics, they charged through our fire, falling like wheat before the MG before they finally broke and ran. I fear they will return, the image will not leave my mind, a mob of Bolsheviks, murder in their eyes, crude bludgeons in hand, and blood on their mind.
If they do we are down to our entrenching tools, and I fear the relentless snow will defy any attempts to retreat. I must escape this war before I meet a grisly fate.

I hate that in Civ V- I'll make a whole bunch of nukes, and the turn before I try to launch them my teammate declares peace with their nation so I can't actually use them.
This is why I don't like team games. I'd rather kill EVERYONE.
