Basically, if you feel especially horrible, don't go spreading it around here. Especially specifically targeting a single person, because that's more likely than anything to start drama.
Besides, the rep system, as has been explained before, means absolutely nothing here. As this forum has aged, people have started using it less and less, to the point where many people will gain little to no rep, no matter the merit of their posts. If anything, in the case of negative rep being given, unless people are abusing the system for flaming which has happened before, it's safe to say if your rep gets lower it's the equivalent to warning points on other forums. Sort of a "you see this thing you got downrepped for? Don't to that thing."

As someone who has been at -10 rep I can confirm this to be accurate.
