I just watched the second episode of Daredevil... I saw the title of it afterwards.

I can only advise you to take your time when it comes to others, and try to recite what you want to say or said in your head. If it sounds slightly rude in hindsight, then simply change a few words here and there. (08-06-2015, 04:49 PM)Jim_Clonk Wrote:(08-06-2015, 04:37 PM)Comito Wrote: It's a Monster Hunter joke. The small crown is indicative that you've run into a monster abnormally small. (some events have you run into one smaller than your character, in a series where EVERYTHING is bigger than you. They still retain their full strength, too.) The big crown is, you guessed it, indicative that the monster you're fighting is fuckhuge and can probably eat your face somewhat faster than it's brethren of more normal size. It makes their hitboxes bigger, so while they're easier to hit, they can hit you a lot more easily.

One of them is, but at the moment it's Japan-only. Because they're lucky bastards / don't seem to think the US would be worth localizing it for. It IS an MMO, by the way. Only purely online as compared to MH's regular online-offline modes. Gameplay and whatnot is precisely the same besides, with the MMO having a few more shinies and a fuckton more monsters and whatnot exclusive to it.

(and i need materials from way WAY bigger enemies to upgrade my sword further) it's also slightly grindy... this is what is required for a full suit of slightly better armor than what i have now. though there is lots to do, for an IOS game there is a shit load of content it seems, i've played it for a 20 or so hours i believe and i don't think I've even scratched the paint on this thing. and after looking up on it's wiki (which is a pretty daunting and slightly confusing but fully stocked one) very advanced one too, different weapons with different attack types can do different amounts of damage on different sections of different monsters. so your hammer might be good against one drake's head while your sword might slice it to ribbons if you hit it's tail and stuff like that. /rant.

Well that was refreshing. That was the most civil and friendly conversation I've had with my dad in months.
