Guilty as charged; I've got a species in this novel I'm putting together that's inspired from the same thing - in my case, snake-birds of a sort (feathered serpents with limbs, basically). There's just so much potential to exploit the cute-factor that 'proper velociraptors' have (judging by that picture, anyway.).
