*Chainsaw revving in the distance*
Okay clearly you guys don't understand the meaning of "Calm down", and, as such, I have to take administrative action because you people cannot stop, take a breather, and relax.
Surge. Silverotter. Both of you are receiving twenty-four hour bans, on accounts of breaking Rule #1 and refusing to relax after being told to do so. This is to allow you two to cool off. The forums are not the best option for everyone. Skype is not either. Guess what? A few people use one more than the other. Guess what? Most people who are in the Skype group are, indeed, active in the thread and aren't splitting the community. Saying "Oh, the community is splitting!" when this Skype group has existed since about...oh, I don't know, the seventh or so thread? Maybe earlier? It does nothing but cause exactly the issue you are so vehemently against. Constantly arguing, yelling, and going "Skype is terrible!" all the time is what is driving people away. Not the Skype group itself. The toxicity in the forums is precisely what is causing people to be upset and be less active here.
Yelling about a so-called issue does nothing but drive people away. It does not fix the issue. It does not help anyone to make a small issue into a gigantick fucking shitfest of epic proportions. The bans will be rolling out in the next few minutes. Maybe it'll be a tad calmer, maybe people won't have to leave the forums because of the drama being caused.
That is all.
