i've not been here a lot lately, have i? well, guess now's as good of a time as any to make a small update.
i've started afterschool. (or "efterskole" of you're danish) and it has been monumental piles of fun! for a lot just the sound of something called "afterschool" sounds terrible, but let me explain a few things about the school system in denmark. (or at least how i remember it.) folkschool (or "folkeskole") is the basic mandatory education everyone in denmark receives, it covers your basics. it goes from 0 to 9th grade in a logical manor. after that there's a few options, one is going to gymnasium, which is the next logical step for most, it goes from 1st G to 3rd G and allows for more specialaztion in what education you recive. then there's a sort of school for those wanting an education or job concerning things like electricans and carpenters and such, the grade requirements for these are pretty low and people often pick them due to either having been rejected from a gymnasium due to poor grades (there are no legal grade limit to enter a gymnasium though it can turn you away due to it anyway, which is fair since there is quite a leap frm 9th to 1st G, so if you had far below average grades in basic things like math and such, you'd be in for a world of work) or just really wanting a job in that catagory. the last option (there are probably others, but they are rare or limited and i don't know of them off the top of my head) is afterschool, which is a sort of boarding school where you sleep and eat at the school along with everyone else. you get a dorm and a roommate (mine's really cool and really tall.) and you get put into a few different groups like you have a group for the hall you're in (i'm in D hall, which has 14 rooms of 2 people each) each room has it's own toilet and shower and we share a kitchen and sofa area. we're also place into "contact groups" where we're about 10 people from all over the school, we're given a teacher (all the teachers are really cool) and then we're sort of a small family. we also get to pick a line, a few of those i remeber are, science (the one i picked) it has 3D printers and oculous rift's and we are making lego robots as part of the education. there are the adventure line for those want to come outside, do things like biking and rowing, running and playing games and such, probably also some climbing and swimming. there's teh drama line, where you do theater and such, pretty much what you would expect only about 60% cooler. there's the media line, where you learn to edit and make films and take pictures and such. there's the music line, where you learn to play music, and sing. there's also teh art line, where ou make and learn about art and such. (i'm strapped for time, like, really really strapped, i'll come back later and write more, cya guys till then! also feel free to ask questions you may have, i'll see if i can't get back to them.)

If I were over there, I'd probably be in the drama line. I love performing, voice acting, and being silly/making a fool out of myself in general. Hell, I'm planning on getting away from my family on Seattle's monorail and singing a line from the Simpsons monorail song.

oh, another cool thing there is here is choice topics (not exactly sure how to translate it...)
monday and tuesday afternoon there are one hour slots where you fill in a topic of your chocing from a list. they vary quite a bit and will be changed (with a new list to select from) after winter. things like pottery/ceramics to dansing, guitar playing to diving (cost some money but you get an offical certificate that you can use everywhere to show that you know how to dive with oxygen tanks) another one that will be after winter is 3D printing (and by extension, knowing how to use a 3D modeling program) there's also counter factual history, which sounds really cool, its where the group things, discusses tings related to alternative history, like what if the roman empire still stood, or who is respinsible for keeping the cold war from boiling over and such. that and for all the choice topics you get to bring blankets and snacks. there's also a supermarket nearby where i felt like such a responsible adult when the first thing i brought was 24 cans of soda and some 150g of mixed candy. (in my defence, the soda was crazy cheap and the candy i've been rationing) so how's ti going for you guys? and again, any questions you may have, feel free to ask them!

AGHH DAMN IT!
It's August 11th. The school year starts in September. I still haven't been able to decide on a post-secondary institute or even what I want to do. (Especially since what I originally had in mind is unavaliable this year.) I have two options, I've been told: 1. Go to college/university (probably in a program I hate in a field I'm not interested in) for the year. 2. (disappoint my entire family and) Instead try to find work for the year. (Also I really don't care if nobody has anything to say on this matter. Heck, I honestly don't know why I posted it in the first place.)

Haha all you college folks and your college problems, I don't have to worry about college because I failed high school.
....yes I know that isn't a good thing... PSA: Red Baron brand frozen pizza is not just the best frozen pizza you can get, it's possibly the best pizza you can have fresh in the comfort of your own living room, frozen or delivery.

So after seeing a video I've decided to try building a large fort in Minecraft. So far I've started work on the outer wall, completed the main inner wall and central structure, and OH GOD THIS IS GOING TO TAKE FOREVER! http://imgur.com/a/lYAQw <--Images of progress
