Maybe it's just me but an equaliser/visualiser seems like a kind of obnoxious thing to put on a desktop in general.

No, that works well if placed correctly, which on Surge's case, not It looks angled and not even to the eye, if the bars is vertically straight while keeping the slope of the wing on the base that could work.

Except it's largely for Surge's tastes If he likes it, then there's no real "appropriate" way to put it. So all of this discussion on where to put it is kind-of moot Or to simplify that, Surge is obviously pleased with it. Arguing on where it could go isn't very nice because he'll be the only one seeing it day in and out.

The bars cannot be staggered like that because a new visualizer would have to be created where the code allows me to tweak the Y position of each bar, or where I am able to place each bar individually. Each method is tedious and relatively code intensive (generally speaking the code of each widget is easy to sift through, maybe a page or two for larger ones like visualizers), so not only can I not make it most will not see a reason to make it.(10-22-2015, 05:00 AM)SCN-3_NULL Wrote: No, that works well if placed correctly, which on Surge's case, not I attempted a regular flat visualizer but only the left bars were properly visible and I didn't like that.

...How did I end up back here? I never really expected to be here again...it's like midnight or something, I should be asleep so I can have that job interview in the morning, but no, I find myself back here again.
...Well, might as well get myself up-to-date while I'm here.
