We can't abandon ship either, if we don't stop this thing the entire planet will turn into an iceball." Danu sounded worried, flipping switches to try and get one of the control panels to light up. With any luck the ship's computer could give them a map of the place.
Well, at this point, the future isn't exactly bright... It's either keep going while the planet and all the non-Avali freeze... Which is everyone but gonz, Danatre, and probably Austin... Or try to destroy it and risk splitting the planet in half in the process.
If I had the time, I'd try altering reality to turn the whole damn ship into rock... But that would take a day of mental preparation and a massive power source- which I do have in the mountains, but it might not be ready- and in that time, I'd freeze to death. I'd probably need everyone to agree, too...
"We don't have to destroy it if we can get it to recover its equipment and fly away. Since the reactor reports that it is capable of full power, there's a good chance that it still can. The problem is controls- we need to get the ship's controls to work if we're going to have even a chance of stopping it."
"The alternative is I will go alone into the reactor compartment and disable the coolant pumps. That should cause the core to overheat, triggering safety devices that forcibly shut down the reactor and deprive the ship of power again. Of course if there is no such safety device, god knows why one would be built without, I'd have to turn the pumps back on real quick or the whole place would blow apart."
