I've found this to be more true than they realized, time has an impeccable ability to repair itself, where the "Destiny" so to speak of a universe is violated the timeline quickly crafts a new one to take it's place, it forms an ever expanding and growing tree of timelines and possibilities, however I can only assume that these events are caused by travelers such as myself using other means of transport accidentally crossing paradox laws. I know from experience that the result of such a thing can be quite explosive.
