// I was actually just thinking of that- only problem is how to make it.
// Perhaps I could use Ether in some way- in Xenoblade Chronicles, slain monsters would often drop white Ether crystals with random aspects for gem crafting.
// Maybe when someone is slain, they leave a crystal behind that has to be inserted into the machine in order for them to be revived?
// We'd obviously have to agree on something that would be taken... Perhaps one ability per death, as there's both magic and genetic abilities here.

//Aye. Death may be cheap, but it still should have some price. Just because you die, doesn't mean you'll come back. Some, obviously, would. Others wouldn't, due to either needing to stay dead due to them being a problem, or something else. Permadeath no matter what is...problematic in this setting.
//but yeah a "we gotta agree to bring them back/there's a consequence" sort of deal would be good. Especially both. Dying doesn't mean you'll be back the next day even if you are brought back...two or three days seems logical enough.
