Danu smiles, making her way back to the stove.
The house was rather classic inside, looking like a movie set or even a museum depicting the 16th century. And yet she still had a modern gas stove being used to cook breakfast despite the kettle boiling over the fireplace, and electric lights alongside the abundant candle holders and oil lamps. Nearly all of them were lit, the flickering old fashioned lights providing some elegance while the electric lamps kept the room well lit.
On the carved oak table stood a breakfast feast large enough for several people to enjoy, along with pitchers of milk and cider, the table set with fine china and real silverware.

"It reminds me of my youth, and the land I came from. A land that was destroyed by my brother, who without any warning betrayed our entire family and went down a road that ended in the destruction of everything I have ever known."
Danu looks a little sad, but gets up and flips the pancakes on the stove before sitting down again to continue.
"When I came to, I was in a void. In that void I created light, I created life... but in time that life grew to reject me. I was so upset that I fled, travelling from land to land like a leaf in the wind."
She takes a drink of milk and wipes her eyes.
"Over time my abilities have worn down, I am only capable of a fraction of what I once could do. But the knowledge of my travels has not left me, and perhaps in time I will come to learn why I was ultimately rejeted by my creations no matter where I introduced them."
