Yes, but I think what Surge was getting at is that if one follows the theory of a multiverse with infinite possibilities, "Dragons" could be any number of things.
In one universe, wyverns and dragons may be part of the same species, in another dragons may be called rabbits and be covered in long locks of hair with twelve legs and an alarmingly spherical body. Just because you say "Dragons are ___" doesn't mean that's true to everyone everywhere always, and you can't get all uppity because people don't call or do call something something else. I can go around calling people "dudebro" or I can name a cat "dog". People will get upset inevitably but that's how things work.
